Not for me
I recently tried this UV light sanitizer with infrared sensor and 3 timers, and overall it works as advertised, but there are a few drawbacks. The sanitizer is quite large and takes up a significant amount of counter or shelf space, which can be inconvenient if you have limited room.When turned on, the machine is noticeably loud, more than I expected for a device of this type. That said, the infrared sensor and timer functions work well, and it seems effective at sanitizing small items as intended.

Very lightweight (tips over easily), cord is way too short (needs extension cord). Otherwise good.
This product claims to be able to sanitize up to 300 ft.². A 17‘ x 17‘ room would be 289 ft.², which is well within the maximum size of 300 ft.²If you were to put this sanitizer light in the middle of the room, it’s cord would need to be around 10 foot long to reach the outlet on the wall, depending on where the outlet is located. Even if the outlet was dead center on the wall at the exact same height as the sanitizing light, it would still need to be at least 8 1/2 feet long (half of 17’) and that would give it no extra wiggle room.However, as you can see in the photo, the cord is not even 4 1/2 feet long, let alone 8 1/2 or 10+ feet (see photo). Therefore, you need to use an extension cord. And the weight of the extension cord pulls on it, and since it’s so lightweight it wants to tip over easily. The cord length has been very problematic, and it needs a heavier base so it won’t tip over so easily.Other than that, I like the countdown beeping to let you know to to get out of the area before it starts, and the automatic shutoff if someone enters the area. I also like the way the air smells when it’s finished, similar to how the air smells after using a narrowband UVB machine (for psoriasis).

Great UV sanitizer light with timer
I like the three timer settings for 15, 30 and 60minutes. It works great and doesn’t make any noise. It gives peace of mind for quick home sanitizing.
