Works great and super cute!
I bought this for trips and work since it all collapses and is easy to pack. It is super cute and compact. The bonus cups and bowls are a plus. The kettle took nine minutes to heat up to a complete boil and it does auto shut off. The cord removes from the kettle for easy cleaning. The cups expand to hold 6 oz of liquid (would have liked 8 oz but it’s a bonus so I’m not going to complain about that) the bowl hold 3 2/3 cups according to my measurements. If you have trouble collapsing the kettle just give it a little twist as you push down and it goes down easier. The lids to the bowl and cups seem secure enough but I’m not going to be traveling/commuting with them full. Overall this water kettle seems to work as described. It seems to be a great value for what I paid for it. I will be taking a road trip next month and will use it daily for coffee so if my review needs updating I will add to this.

Great for trips
I bought this for a weekend trip where we would be staying in a hotel but not knowing if there would be a microwave this kettle was amazing and super easy to use. It boiled the water fairly quickly and would shut the hot plate off at the bottom when the water reached a certain temp, if left on and it cooled it would heat up again.When filled to the max i got a small cup of hot cocoa, and oatmeal out of it plus a little extra but not much.When not in use (and dry) it folds down into its compact version making packing a breeze.The only downfall about this kettle is that the cord is on the shorter side so you’ll need to have a close outlet when using it.Overall I’m very happy with this and will be bringing it on many more trips.

Bought this for camping but take it everywhere great for car and hotel the amount of food and drinks I’ve made with this little set would shock you I cannot recommend this enough the cups come with lids and the bowl lid has a steamer cap it is easy to clean and collapse and the kettle gets boiling hot I would trust cooking meat and fish along with using the hot water for cleaning this is just so neat I love it so much I use it all the time

Outstanding little machine!
I bought this bcuz we travel regularly and one of us, not me, doesn’t do well without coffee. I loved the collapsible bowl and cups. You can fit both cups inside the collapsed bowl, saving even more space! But this little pot is absolutely wonderful, amazing, spectacular! After expanding it to its full three rings and washing it out, I wanted to test it to see how long it took to fully heat up. I filled it to the top of the second ring with some cold water. Within two minutes it was hot enough and by three minutes it was too hot. It wasn’t a full on boil at this point either but there were bubbles coming up the sides. I have an adapter for my car so I will be able to plug it in and make his coffee on the go, right there in the car! I love this little thing! It works great and is so totally portable! Best of all, I know he loves it bcuz he doesn’t want to pack it up for travel yet-he said it works better than his coffee pot now!

just buy the kettle
bought this for a trip overseas because i am tired of not knowing whether i’ll have access to boiling water, or if the room kettle will be so sketchy i won’t want to use it.as for the actual kettle: it works just fine. stop second guessing yourself and certainly don’t listen to the people who have sausages for fingers and don’t know how to keep the kettle upright when pouring.even if this thing breaks tomorrow (i used it everyday for 2 weeks straight no problem) it saved me tons of money on buying coffee, tea etc. and i loved being able to make them any time of the day or night.if you want a kettle that will change your life, do your taxes, raise your children go get a 800 dollar kettle. otherwise do not come here and complain about this perfectly decent travel kettle.

Takes Two Hands to Handle When Hot
A cute, portable teakettle!BUT…..1) the flexible material is very foldable when pouring unless filled above the first ring.2) my hands are small so it took 2 hands to flip the On/Off switch-Kettle is small enough there is no counter weight to balance as the switch is used unless filled to the top.3) If unattended, must be turned off!! -Found out the hard way that i forgot 2x in a week. First time was only hours but second time was this weekend for 36 hours 🙁 Came home to a hot and bone dry kettle. I was working hard to create a habit of turning it off each time I used it but missed it and so happy there was no harm!
