It works amazing!!!
This is the perfect solution for my grandsons stinky shoe problem! I tried it for the first time yesterday, and we started with the 15 minute setting, and it worked! His shoes were sanitized, smelled like nothing after just 15 minutes of exposure! I am super impressed, and will be using it for my cpap and other things! It is a good size box, and of great quality. It doesn’t require anything to get wet, so nothing needs dried. It is a little spendy, but super worth every penny.

Such a great alternative to Ozone products
I purchased this after a bad customer service experience with the company that made my former ozone sanitizer device, which was defective. I’m now thankful for that bad experience because it led me to purchase this UV sanitizer! The following are the criteria I base my review on:Convenience: 5/5–I love that I can choose between 5, 15, and 30 mins to clean my CPAP equipment. Additionally, there is no waiting for hours to get ozone to safely dissipate. This is especially helpful for me since, during the workweek, I’m rushing out the door in the morning and sometimes don’t remember to sanitize my CPAP mask until I’m about to go to bed.Size: 5/5–This box fits my hose, mask, frame, and water chamber all at the same time, and the UV light still manages to penetrate each of them during the sanitizing cycle.Ease of use: 4.5/5–You just put in your equipment and press the button and the cycle will begin after a few seconds. I took off half a point because I think the button on the plug should be less sensitive. Sometimes, I mistakenly brush against when I’m trying to adjust the plug and I have to cycle through the options to avoid the light coming on with the box open.Effectiveness: 5/5–I don’t have much time during the week to do a thorough cleaning of my CPAP equipment, so I needed to find something that would easily and quickly sanitize five days a week. This does the job very well. After cleaning, it does leave an odor similar to being outside, but it goes away pretty quickly, especially if you use your CPAP machine to push out the air in the hose, frame, and mask before putting it on for the night.Cost: 5/5–The effectiveness of the UV clean makes it worth it for me. I paid over $200 for my Purify O3 Sanitizer, and not only did that stop working properly immediately after 2 years, but customer service basically told me it wasn’t their problem when I was trying to figure out why the device stopped producing ozone. This being a fraction of the cost makes me value it more because of my previous experience. I’ve also seen other UV products for hundreds of dollars more than this, but this works very well from my experience.Overall, I was very skeptical because I was unfamiliar with the effectiveness of UV technology, and even more so because of the price of the box, but it has been working very well for me for several months. Also, the fact that I don’t have to wait for HOURS before I can use my CPAP equipment after the cleaning cycle is a BIG plus! That alone made this worth it for someone like me.

UV Sanitizer doesn’t work very well
Terrible!!!! I regret having purchased it . The uv light burns up the flex tubing for the CPAP machine.DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

Bad Smell
I actually returned this product. I had read where the ozone sanitizers put off a chemical smell so I purposely picked this “non ozone” sanitizer. I worked well, was easy to us too but the process left our CPAP components with a terrible smell. Return was easy, one reason I love to purchase from Amazon.

Great as CPAP parts Sanitizer
This is a good sized box… like 12 x 10 x 9 or so.Has a totally reflective insides, and a little rack at the bottom that looks like a cookie rack. Good to give some space unde things, for more light to bounce into the area and penetrate more surface for santiizing.I like that it has three different length settings… for a quick dash of cleaning, a short one… or for a deeper sanitize, the longest one, and if it’s somewhere in the middle… use that one.Great design. I don’t tend to collapse mine very often, but I like that it does collapse for storage and portability.Very easy to use; Quality made. No complaints whatsoever.

Great for CPAP
I use this to sanitize my CPAP. Everything fits inside, there’s no odor (very important to me–the ozone sanitizers’ scent gave me migraines), and there’s zero mess and zero fuss.

Initial thoughts.
Update:Be warned that there is no safety to prevent the lamp being turned on when the lid is open. That being said, it is still a good product otherwise.I bought this for use in cleaning my CPAP supplies as well as the humidifier tank. I needed a larger one than what I have been using previously.My initial thought is the fact that more than 3 minutes under the lamp is sufficient and having longer times seem a little excessive.The construction of the case is sturdy and has a decent amount of weight to it. The bottom of the case has a reflector that is removable, but does fit snug which helps make the case sturdier.There is a metal rack that is very loose and I don’t particularly care for it but it does do the job near as I can tell.The lamp is exposed and does not appear to have any protection against accidental bumps.Is it worth the price? Initially I think so, but I will try and update my review as time goes. I think that the features are good, I do also think there is room for improvement.
