Quality, toothbrush that really cleans your teeth
I love this toothbrush. I think it gets your teeth cleaner than any other toothbrush I’ve used. It has a great holder, so your toothbrush isn’t sticking up and gets full of goop. It has UV sanitizing light and it also works as a nightlight in addition it looks great on the bathroom counter. We purchased one for each other.

I have been using my Tao brush for a couple of months and really love it. It cleans well and is easy to use. I like the drying and sanitizing features on it and that it stores inside to protect it.

The positive reviews concerning the distinctive clean feel even after the first use are all true. As a matter of fact, almost all positive reviews on this item are somewhat accurate. I would like to focus on the details that I searched for and couldn’t find on reviews both written or in video format. They may seem like “cons” but I must add that for me they were not deal breakers. Instead I’d like to think of them as constructive criticism, since they are details that I would like to see on later generations of this item.Cable management: It is difficult to tell the power source and cable situation from all the photos and videos online, which are edited for aesthetic purposes.I kind of knew what the set up would be from previous experiences with other electronic devices so I knew what to expect. However, for those who are expecting the same sleek, cable-free look from the photos online please take note that if your bathroom has power outlets above the sink area, like most homes in america, there will be a cable bunch up on your countertop. Even if the cable is wound up and tied together, it may still be an atrocious sight for that OCD gem in your home, who probably spends a lot of time at the sink.Power Adaptor: Once plugged in, the power adaptor sticks out over three and a quarter inches from the power outlet, yet another design flaw. With the amount of compact usb adaptors available this shouldn’t be difficult to correct since the company would only need to replace one part.Power adaptor plug: The placement of the power socket on the base station is a bit awkward and creates a distance of about two and a half inches from the wall or backsplash. I have similar electronics with the power socket located below the item, which makes for a neater appearance and freedom to push the item flush to the wall when necessary.Other small details that the shopper should be aware of is the size of the item and color of the brush handle. Please take a closer look and notice that the brush handle is two toned. I think it looks good but, anyone expecting it to be solid white will be thoroughly disappointed.Also, please double check the dimensions of this item and know that it is not a compact design. Definitely not for a countertop where space is at a premium.With all that being said…or typed; I would like to reiterate that all these may seem like “cons” but they really are small details that everyone should know to ensure that they are completely happy with their purchase upon receipt.So, In conclusion this item would be perfect if it was a bit more compact, and the cable/power adaptor issue was resolved. With the portable power core technology available now a days I don’t see why we shouldn’t expect a wireless base station that could hold a charge for a few days in the near future.If you made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read and I hope this helped out even just a lil bit. Awesome –Pricey But Worth It
Best toothbrush I’ve ever used in terms of feeling like my teeth are really really clean. The charger takes up a good bit of space on my counter top, but since the brush is held head down, it looks, and is, so much cleaner than other models. Maybe a little pricey but worth it.

Effective and sanitary!
I was nervous about it buying an unknown brand but I’m finding it just as effective as more well known brands, with the added benefit of being not only more attractive to sit on the counter, but the sanitizing UV feature keeps them clean. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my husband. I really like the quad pacing for the brush cycle and by placing the brush upside down it dries while being sanitized without dripping down the handle.

Great toothbrush
I thought this toothbrush wasn’t working and I was beyond the return window. I spoke to the company and they were so helpful! After their help, it seems my toothbrush is cleaning properly. They also told me there is a lifetime warranty on it. My apologies to the people I spoke to at Amazon complaining it wasn’t working and I couldn’t get my money back. I’m embarrassed, but I really do like my Tao toothbrush. I really like the way it looks, too!

Decent Brush, But the “UV Sanitizer” is a Clear Gimmick
This electric toothbrush performs its primary function well—my teeth feel clean, and the brushing action is perfectly fine. As a toothbrush, it gets the job done reliably, earning decent marks for usability and effectiveness.Design and Convenience (The Good)The design is genuinely clever and convenient. I appreciate the ability to store and charge the brush head upside down directly in the base. I like the idea that it’s protecting the brush head from ambient dust and bacteria while it charges. This convenience factor is definitely a major selling point.The Major Flaw: A Sanitizing ScamHowever, the major issue lies with the marketed “UV-cleaning” feature, which seems entirely deceptive.Based on inspection, I believe this is nothing more than a cosmetic blue LED light. When the brush is docked, a faint blue glow turns on in the base, attempting to mimic the look of ultraviolet light. Crucially, there is no visible ultraviolet light source, lens, or tube capable of actually sanitizing anything. It appears to be a basic light intended solely to make it look like a sanitation process is happening.If the sole reason for choosing this model was the promise of germ-killing UV technology, you will likely be disappointed. It feels like a clear gimmick designed to inflate the product’s value without providing any actual functional benefit.Final VerdictIf you want a toothbrush that simply works well and has convenient charging, this is an acceptable choice. But if you are buying it specifically for the “UV sanitation” feature, save your money. It’s a good brush, but the blue light is a clear marketing pretense that customers should be aware of.
