Effective Sanitizer with Useful Features
I purchased this UV light sanitizer for extra peace of mind in cleaning commonly used areas at home, especially the kitchen and bathroom. The remote control is a convenient addition, letting me set the timer for 15, 30, or 60 minutes based on the size of the space. During use, I make sure to leave the room, as the lamp includes a radar sensor that shuts off automatically if it detects movement within a safe range, which is a reassuring safety feature. The 254nm wavelength seems effective, as I’ve noticed a fresher feel and reduced odors in treated areas. The coverage is impressive, easily reaching across larger spaces. However, you do need to plan ahead since it’s not something you can run while present. It’s a solid product for maintaining a cleaner home environment without relying on chemicals.

Severely disappointed with this light.
no clear directions on how to work it. there is no timer button on the light itself. the remote that came with it doesn’t actually work. when I did get the light to finally turn on, I did notice a funky smell left behind so I’m assuming it is doing something. I also noticed that the motion sensor randomly triggers every now and then. As far as I can tell, the light is doing what it’s supposed to be doing, but as for the rest of the light functions, I’m severely disappointed with it for what I paid for.

lightweight but effective, easy to use
Super easy to use, just plug it in and turn on using the remote, then clear out of the way and let it work. I am using to sanitize a camper that is a little bit stinky/stuffy and can definitely tell a difference after just a couple of cycles. I like the UV better than an ozone generator that I used previously because I do not have to wait for the air to clear to be safe to enter (automatic shutoff for the win!), and the UV is less corrosive to my belongings. However, after reading about how they each work I will still keep the ozone generator around for occasional use.I do feel that the unit is very lightly built for the price and feels quite fragile. I do wish the cord were a bit longer so I could place it in a safer spot as one good knock would be the end of it. The silicone base does help me feel it less likely to slide around.
