Pick proof lock
The learning curve to use this on most doors is not steep, but it’s a solid addition to the locks one might already have installed and it is pick proof! Removing it is about as fast as installing, but slower than a knob lock.

Sturdy portable door lock
This portable door lock is well made, sturdy, and looks just like the photos. The metal is thick and is able to withstand a lot of force. This portable door lock is great to have on hand for extra security and peace of mind. This portable door lock is small enough to easily fit in a purse, backpack, suitcase, etc. I appreciate that it comes with a soft storage pouch so you can keep it in your purse or backpack without having to worry about it scratching anything up. I don’t think my bedroom door is compatible with this portable door lock though. I tried it and found it to be pretty difficult to install, if not impossible. I also kept smashing my fingers a bit when trying to use it so I gave up on using it for my bedroom door. I think the framing is too tight and it seems like it would dent the door if I tried to fully shut it with this on. The portable lock does seem to work on other doors though so just depends on door I suppose.
