Useful well-made harness
I’m very positively surprised by the product. It is well made and looks sturdy without any loose threads. My maltese puppy is 3 months old and the harness is a bit big for her, so I tied an additional elastic around the middle part. It still works that way and it will still be useful when she grows. I urge buyers to train their dog to use the harness and not just pop them in and go. Give some treats when trying it on and extend the wearing time gradually. My puppy first squirmed and wanted out but soon did a full walk outside with it. The only complaint is that the waist strap for the human is very long but the small straps for the dog are a bit short. They could be longer for when she grows but it’s not a big issue.

Size and weight of Dog
My JRT panics when he first leaves the house for the trail and wont walk. So I put him in this carrier and go out a good ways and then put him down and he hesitates but then he goes for the trail. He is 14 pounds and I’m 5-1 so he gets heavy. But this carrier really works. My size is Medium. We couldn’t go out before. We’re really grateful that I can get him out on the trail and he can get excersize. It’s a good value, Made well, is fairly comfortable and the fit is good. It looks as good as a carrier can. Be sure and follow the fit chart. Also, I live alone so I sit down in a chair and drop him into the bottom pocket while I’m seated. I saw that in a review-otherwise I would have been stuck!!

Good product. Well made. I modified this to fit my 25lb Jack Russel mutt. He’s long with a big chest for his size and needed to lengthen a few straps, plus added a collar strap connected to the chest strap for upper body support. Jax rides with me on the motorbike and this allows a bit of safety, comfort and security element on rides. It’s a bit cumbersome to fit, wear and use, but works great once its on us both. Just like a baby carrier. Perfect!

My boy loves it!!!
Was wondering what my dachshund would think and he loves it!!Size was perfect for my Tweenie Dachshund (22lbs)Very sturdy. I trust it will keep him secured to me.The thickness is perfect. Helps with comfort go both of us.Design could be better. Wish there were a few less clips – hard to get on. Definitely need help getting him in it.

I have a mini dach that is more of a tweeny. She is 18 lbs, not overweight. I ordered 2 different backpacks for our trip to NY with her to see which was the best. This was very difficult to get on her with all of the buckles. Luna did not like it. The straps did not fit well across my husband’s broad shoulders. It was very uncomfortable for him and he said no way! We returned this.
