Perfect thermos kettle combo
Better than most other portable kettles because the vent hole can be sealed so it can be used as a regular thermos / water bottle. Most others have a permanent vent so they can’t be thrown in a bag or carried while full of water. Perfect for long shifts or traveling with access to electricity. Have used it to heat up water for tea, coffee, noodles, instant mashed potatoes, etc.

Work as intended
I brought this portable water heater for travel purposes. Can’t really trust the cleanliness of water heaters in the hotels these days so I figure I would bring my own. I have use this item for two trips already and I’m pretty happy with it. It does take a little longer to heat water compare to the large capacity water heater I have at home, but a minute or two difference really does not matter much to me.I wish the capacity is larger, but then I guess it would not be as portable. The 18 oz size really is just big enough for me to make a cup of pour over coffee in the morning, so if my wife wants to make her tea, one of us would have to wait for the second pot of water to boil.I would recommend this water heater if you like the peace of mind knowing that the hot water you drink while on your trip is from a clean pot.

Useless since it will not turn on at all
Bought this and it arrived on September 18, 2025 for a trip we had planned for October 16 to 20, 2025. When it arrived, we read the instructions and immediately tested it and it worked fine. Then we stored it for the trip. When we got to the destination, and we wanted to make ourselves coffee the next morning, we find that this no longer works. We tried all the outlets and it simply wouldn’t even light up. We brought it home and tried it again and it still wouldn’t work. This product is completely useless and unreliable. We were only able to test it once before it would not work again! I must have gotten a truly faulty piece if the other reviews seem to think it’s great. Unfortunately, we got back from our trip two days after the return window closed so now we’re stuck with a new travel kettle that simply won’t turn on.

Must have travel item
Perfect travel kettle for tea, cup noodle, miso soup, instant oatmeal/grits etc in hotel rooms that usually only have questionable hygiene coffee machines. Big size and dual voltage. 212° max for boiling as is the standard for full size kettles. Boils quietly and fast, stays hot and shows current temp. Touch and hold button to change boil temp. Remember to keep small rubber spout open (loft up and turn) during boiling. Has silicone handle.

Wonderful!
This has been perfect on my vacations & staying in places that don’t offer tea or a kettle. Love it!
