WishI had known this before purchase.
I purchased this item four months ago. Don’t bother purchasing as the main part ends up stripping out and the part that tightens to secure the door just turns and turns doing nothing. So I contacted the company for assistance no response what so ever! So this company seems to make the part knowing what it will do and instructs customer service to not respond to contacts. They should be dropped from selling on Amazon.

Will leave marks on the door frame
The tool seems to work but the only problem with this one in particular is that one of the sides do not have a rubber cover on it so it will mark up the doorframe unlike more expensive versions of this tool. As long as you put something in between the flat metal part and the doorframe it shouldn’t’ mangle up your door frame but wish it came with it out of the box.Other than that it was somewhat easy to figure out and fit well and held the door shut so decent price but could be better.
