This will work well for my yorkie!
This is nicely made and the mesh is breathable. I added a little folded fleece blanket to the bottom for a little more cushion, but it could be used with or without. The base that fits in is good and sturdy.Because my yorkie is only a puppy, she is very small (2.5 lbs), so she does not reach the top hole, so I simply opened the side. I got “small” since she will probably not reach over 5 lbs.The double zipper is really nice and lets you adjust the opening location and size. The straps are well padded and plenty large enough for me. I am a full figured female. No issue with size at all. I actually had to adjust them to make the straps tighter. I won’t use the waist belt because it seems unnecessary for my purposes. The chest strap offers additional support.This is the third carrying bag that I have purchased, and it’s definitely better than the others in terms of support for the dog, quality of materials, and comfort for me.This bag is also light weight, so it adds nearly nothing to the weight of the dog.She actually fell asleep in the bag as I was writing this! So comfort seems good!

It’s been GREAT for more than 3 years.
I use this often for my 14 lb little guy. I love that he can stick his head out. I love the solid bottom. It’s a great yoga mat backpack too!After 3-1/2 years the stitching where the shoulder strap meets the pack is starting to pull out, but that’s because I usually swing in on my back that way (so now I’m more mindful).For air travel, dogs are supposed to be enclosed, so I’m thinking of ways to retrofit this. I’ve purchased air-approved backpacks, but they are so restrictive!

Wonderful bag for our pup
This is a great bag!! Our 9lb chihuahua/rat terrier fits perfectly and seems to be very comfy in it. She make no fuss going in even when we cinch the top closed. If in a restaurant, we let her stick her head out and she just sits nice and quiet. Its super soft yet has a sturdy floor. Can be worn in front or back and is comfy for me or my son.The reason I give it a 4☆ is the manufacturing. After a few months, we had to replace the cord. It completely unraveled. My husband bought paracors and replaced it. Good as new. And the zipper gets stuck on random threads here and there. Other than that, wouldn’t be a 5☆ for sure.Will still highly recommend. We tried two others and we chose this one by a long shot.

Fantastic pack!
I recently adopted a 5lbs senior Yorkie. I have younger dogs and we walk 3 miles every morning and enjoy hiking. I still wanted my Yorkie to be able to join us and enjoy being outside. I wear the pack front facing and it is extremely comfortable and the straps adjust for the perfect fit. I put a small towel in the bottom for her to sit on. It is so easy to put her in and take her out when she wants to stroll. Pockets for keys, poop bags, treats. You could probably fit a phone, but I haven’t tried. She is 5 lbs and there is JUST enough room for her to sit comfortably. Highly recommend!

Good quality, but poor fit and durability concerns
The quality seems okay for the price, but I’m returning it for a few reasons. The straps are too long, even at the tightest setting, the bag sits too low and hits my hips. Also, the stitching near the bottom of the straps looks a bit weak and seems like it might come apart soon. Most importantly, my dog just didn’t feel comfortable in it. It’s a decent product overall, but it didn’t work for us.

Nice carrier for dogs
My girlfriend has a 16 year old dog that is good for about 4 blocks of a walk and this is perfect for carrying him the rest of the way. It is a lightweight backpack that is adjustable for different sized people. I’m 6 ft tall and she is 5 ft tall. It is not hard to adjust if we want to switch the person carrying the dog. It works well facing backwards or forwards. Her dog is 7 pounds and I bought the one made for his size. He fits perfectly and seems comfortable. A good value.

This product is perfect. Do not hesitate to buy. I tried all manner of items already in the home to carry my dog and they all hurt ME. Finally found this, good price, high ratings, and gave it a shot. I can walk miles with no pain. My dog is a 7 pound poodle mix, 13 1/2 inches neck to rump sitting. The medium is the perfect size. I did add a piece of foam (from a 1 inch mattress pad) just for comfort. She loves it and I’m happy to be able to start walking again. Also, of note, I purchased it in ORANGE for safety.
