My son lives in apartments and only aloud to have the lock on the door knob this gives extra security. And very easy to use.. the “bug “ man could not enter until he got up and let him in. You use it when your home and not for when gone.

I ordered the 2 pack and received only 1 and the box it was in seemed to be the wrong box for the product I purchased . But the box it came in was sealed with clear round security seal. Other than being shorted 1 it seems like it’s going to work as advertised.

Gets the job done!
This little gadget works greatly to secure and tightly lock your hotel room door. I travel every month for work and spend between 4-10 nights per/month in hotel rooms and I’ve had some really scary things happen in my travels through NYC, Baltimore and some other really not so safe states. This gadget fits every type of door and locks it tightly for your safety. I also use a toe-stop alarm with high Dbls. That said, I’m a 6’ 220 pound man and consider myself in good shape but with the way this world is today….you can’t afford to not be as safe as possible. For the women and the guys out there, don’t take a chance when traveling because for the price of this product you’ll sleep better knowing the bad guys aren’t getting in! Highly recommend.

Good but not for big situations
This door lock will get the job done, but it is not the best product out there. It is pretty good for the price, but the build quality is not super good and it does bend very easy with harsh openings of doors. If you are using it for hotel security or other genuine security purposes, I do not recommend this. It is good for things such as keeping small children out.

It won’t open
Yes. It does work. It locks the door. Then, the door wont open. No video shows you how to remove it. Every video shows you how to install it. So you will have to make a choice: stay locked up or damage the door and pay for it because this stupid tool is poorly designed.
