I bought two sets of these 4 pack TSA locks, in two different color combinations, for an international trip this summer. One set was for my large suitcase and carry-on bag, the other for my daughter’s large suitcase and carry-on bag. I liked that they were TSA approved and different bright colors. It makes it easier to know what key goes to which lock when you need to unlock something.I’ve seen comments around the web from people who claim that if you have these TSA locks you are only inviting trouble, basically, that you are signaling that you have something to steal in your suitcase or for TSA to open it up and check.Um, okay? Maybe YMWV (your mileage will vary) in that regard, but the way I look at it, it feels like a lot of theft happens at the airport once your luggage disappears from view once you’ve checked in for your trip. In my mind, if you were going to poke around the checked-in luggage for nefarious purposes, I’d like to think your first choice would be the luggage without locks on the zippers…right?And yes, if someone really wants to get into your luggage, they can always just cut if open or break the zipper, if it’s not a hard case. (Though they don’t make luggage like they used to it seems, the hard sided get cracked and the wheels fall off the first time you send them through baggage.)Another reason for using these handy little locks is if you need to check your luggage at your motel or hotel because your room isn’t ready yet and you are going off to do something until it is. Or maybe you want to keep them locked while you are out during the day yet still have the room cleaned. It keeps people honest, is what I’m trying to get at.These lock sets come with two keys per lock. I put one set on a small clip key chain and kept it in my purse or carry-on bag. I put the other set on a long necklace cord and wore it under my clothes after I got through security. That way, if something happened to my bag or purse with one set, I knew where the other set was. Again, YMWV on what you choose to do in keeping track of your keys. I also bought the four pack because our large traveler bags had zippered pockets on the front. The extra locks keep those locked up during the flight or being held at your motel/hotel. Finally, I kept one of the locks for my zippered duffel bag carry-on bag to use once I got to my hotel.All-in-all I am very pleased with these and recommend them!

Great value buy if you need a lot of locks for luggage
4 stars. Three worked great but one doesn’t unlock which kinda sucks. But they are small and work perfectly. Worth the price if you get 4 working locks, but I’m happy none the less. Used one for my carry on and one on my backpack as I travled around the CIty on the Metro.

Not much to look at, but no one has invaded my suitcase since I got them. While the locks look flimsy, they are enough to warn off the curious baggage handlers with the stickey fingers. All you really need is a warning to the potential thief. The locks are definitely suitable for. Beside that, if you lose your lock key the easily broken lock may be just what you need..
