Buy this because hotels are going cheap on us.
I travel a lot for work. A lot of hotels no longer have microwave ovens. Some times I like to just have a cup of noodles if I get to my room late, but no way to heat the water. Also, my last stays at Marriotts there was not even a coffee maker (but prices keep going up). This is perfect for making coffee or tea and heating water for noodles or instant soup. Boiling hot water PRONTO!!!

Works so well and compact for travel
Love this!! We used to travel with a gadget that heats up water for coffee because we like to bring our own coffee. It was kind of unsafe and can burn you if not careful. Just discovered this portable tea kettle and we brought it on our last trip. It worked so well! It’s so compact to pack too. We can get two cups out of it.

Great for travel!
I wanted to give this five stars. But, there was one issue that had me concerned. To take the handle off you need to push a small plastic piece on the bottom of the pot. My friend also bought one of these, and she couldn’t figure out how to get the handle off once she was done using it. She ended up breaking the little piece that held it. Since I was warned, I knew what to look for. But, I think that part could be made a little better. Otherwise, this works perfect for a cup of coffee when you are traveling.

Great for travel!
This is perfect for travel, especially since a lot of hotels just have kuerig machines now and no coffee maker or microwave. If you drink tea, you need this thing, or you enjoy coffee that isn’t from a plastic pod you can also get a collapsible pour over thing to complete the set. Used multiple times a day for 5 weeks. Works great. Don’t go above max fill line or of course you get splatter when it boils, duh. It holds a solid 16 oz of boiling water so good for a huge cup of tea.One thing is you need to definitely shut it off or it wants to keep the water warm for you and it kicks back on. Eventually it self shuts off once all the water has evaporated so its safe, but you can end up with hard water scale inside. If that happens, just put any kind of vinegar in it overnight and wash the next morning. Once I realized it kept coming back on, I’d just manually turn it off or unplug it. Saving my precious drinking water. Also used it to boil tap water to hopefully make it safe for drinking. Still alive.

It Works!
Right out of the box, this kettle works! It boiled a cup of water in less than 3 minutes. I only tested it once but will be using it for a glamping trip soon. After it reached the boiling point, it did turn off automatically. That is a great feature. I hope it works as well the next I use it! It easily pops out fully open for use and folds up easily as well. I expected a bag, but there was not one in the box. That’s OK, I have one I can use. I really like that this item is collapsible and easy to store, however I cruise most of the time and require a usb type plug because they do not allow this type plug or the ship will take it from me.
