FAST BOIL, NICE POUR
This kettle boils water much faster than the stove. There are some pros and cons. PROS: It boils extremely fast. It’s boils faster than a microwave or a stove top and is great for pour over coffee! The fast boil is impressive. It has a very nice clean pour. I love the way it pours for pour over coffee. Other reviews mentioned steam burned their thumb and it has a sloppy pour. This is not so if used correctly. You keep the lid closed with your thumb and it’s easy to do and 100% effective. The round knob looking piece that you use to open the kettle, if you pull it back it opens. If you push forward with light pressure it keeps the lid closed when pouring and gives a very nice pour for pour over coffee. No steam will touch your thumb if you do it this way. It packs down nicely and comes with its own carry bag. Cons: A lid lock would be nice but it’s not necessary given the functionality of the kettle. It automatically shuts off once it reaches a rolling boil. If you want to boil your water for 1-3 minutes like I do – forget it. Not happening. I bought it to boil after filtering water while camping so I don’t have to haul water. It just won’t work for that:I also bought it to use in hotels or when traveling with my power station. I don’t trust all tap water so I like to boil for a minimum one minute. I also don’t trust coffee makers bc they harbor mold and most people don’t properly clean them so having my own kettle is nice when traveling. Im not taking a star off for no lid lock and not being able to boil for sanitation purposes which reduces its usage for me because it’s still an amazing kettle. It also has a very short cord. A longer cord would be appreciated. A folding handle would also but these are minor conveniences that I can live without. You’ll need a brush to carefully clean it so I’ll only use it for water. I prop and tilt upside down to dry it out.I use this kettle daily and I love it although I still need another one for camping and still have to use my empty percolator to boil tap water every day.

Perfect for multiple needs
Bought this recently for a camping trip and it is absolutely perfect! The collapsible feature wrks great when trying to pack a bunch of things and needing additional room so I’d say that portability is a big plus. It heats up very quickly so becareful and make sure to watch it t prevent it spilling over. We were able to use this for many uses from boiling water for dishes to making tea and it’s very easy to use. I appreciation the overall durability and functionality of the pot, having the various degrees on the knobs is very helpful as well. It’s great value for the money and I’m so glad that I pushed it because it can in handy several times.

Excited to use this collapsible kettle
This collapsible kettle appears like it will work for me in my camping adventures. Unfortunately, it will not work with my small portable battery pack like I had hoped as it takes too much power. But, after plugging it into a normal household plug, it heated water to boiling in a very short time. There were no odd smells to it, it is very portable and collapsed into a small package that was only about 2″ tall. The material seems to be pretty tough, and I feel that it will hold up well. I have, so far, only tested it to make sure that it worked. As soon as the weather warms up and I start camping again, I will be using it. I will update this post if there are any problems.

Keeps Water JUST RIGHT! 👍🏻
I bought this pot as a replacement for the previous one that I returned because it only had Centigrade readout regarding the temperature of the water. This new pot, which I seem to love very much, does not have either a Centigrade or a Fahrenheit read out, but I don’t care. What it does have, that the other one didn’t, is a dial where I can adjust the temperature that I want the water to stay at. As I have a quick read digital thermometer, it’s very easy for me to use it to check the temperature of the water.My current beverages of choice, while laying here on my bed watching my videos, is either tea or coffee. Unlike some or most of y’all who love to have that coffee scalding hot, I prefer to actually enjoy the coffee when it’s made. That means my water needs to be about 130° to MAYBE up to 160° Fahrenheit. This pot will keep the water pretty much anywhere I put the dial, and with the black mark of the dial straight up it’s right at about 150° to 160° F, which is perfect for me. For brewing tea, on the other hand, I’m a little bit more finicky regarding that. I can set the temperature anywhere I want, and when brewing my tea, the temperature can range between say 185° F up to about 208° F.To make a long story short, I love this new collapsible pot with the ability to be able to set whatever temperature I want. It doesn’t collapse quite as much as the old one, but that’s not really a factor for me. The main thing is I can set the temperature wherever I want. Oh! Regarding that, it even has a super low setting that will keep your milk warm, and while I haven’t really checked it out yet regarding the exact temperature, the first thing I did was just turn it on the first click and I think it got up to like 80 to 90° F. This might be the perfect pot for heating a single bottle for a baby, right? So new moms, that’s something to think about, wouldn’t you agree?

Fits small spaces and heats quickly
Heats quickly. Need to be careful not to burn your hand with the steam when you open it and there is no auto shut off so need to watch…meets the need of a small kettle.

Worked great. It didn’t take up much room in my suitcase. Being a tea drinker I hate using the hotel coffee maker for hot water. It always makes my tea taste funky. This little guy solved the problem.,highly recommend it.
