You need this travel electric portable if you travel (or live in a dorm)!!
I bought this to take when I travel, since many hotels do not have a mini coffee maker (and I am concerned about the cleanliness of those anyway!) I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, the ease of portability, and the ability to make my hot tea in the morning while getting dressed! This is an awesome product, and worth every penny!! It makes 16.9 ounces, which is pretty standard for many travel mugs.

The max fill line does not hold the amount of water in the description. Slow heating but it does heat water to boiling.

Warms FAST & VERY HOT!
Loved this for our cruise. Warmed very fast. 1st time was slow, but after that initial omgosh I’m returning moment, haha, I tried again and wala – Perfect! I use the water for tea so water needs to be very hot and it was. Two thumbs up! Hope this helps

Do not buy !! Will seriously hurt you with explosive scalding water !!!
Straight up booty cheeks and really really dangerous . Please dont buy it , this device will seriously hurt you .I followed the instruction on the pre use cleaning , i filled it 3/4 full with water and 3 drops of dish soap put the lid on tight and set it to boil . After a while foam started shooting out of it like a fountain from the top so i turned it off and unplugg it to let it kool but the cord is heavier than the device so when i put the cord down on the counter the weight of the cord tipped the kettle over and the second that kettle side hit my counter . Boom!! It blows the top and takes off like a soda rocket flying into my bedroom shooting a mess of soap water throughout my apartment. I tried it again this time with 2/4 of the water and no dish soap but when it stopped i went outside to open it and it blew up on me again shooting water everywhere . Thank god i went outside to open it and was pointing it away from me while wearing a sweater and a long sleeve underneath or id be writing this from the hospital waiting room with 2nd degree burns on my chest and face .I am definitely reporting this device to amazon as a hazardous product .
