    Performs Exactly as Promised!
Light weight, easy to deploy and gather up, and very comfortable. I used it at a fantasy/scifi convention to wait in long lines and have a place to sit and eat when tables were unavailable. I also had to travel to/from the con via subway. It worked great!Other reviews mentions that it presses upon one’s groin and that is true. I’m average height and build and fit and was ok with the comfort. But I can easily see how it would be uncomfortable for someone with a little more weight and unusable if significantly overweight. One way to address that issue is a small seat cushion. On the first day of the con I brought one along in my backpack and placed it on the seat of the chair. EXTREMELY comfy! My cusion was about the size of a dinner plate. If of larger girth, this would be a good solution.Later I realized that I didn’t really need the cushion and was comfortable without. There is a version without the back that I had intended to purchase but it was unavailable. I’m so glad that I bought the version with the seat back!!! It made the experience more comfy waiting in line and I could hang my backpack on the seat back.If you’re of average or smaller build and want an easy to carry, fast setup/take down chair, then this is a perfect choice. If larger, then just add a small round cusion for extra comfort. Also, the construction feels VERY sturdy. I had considered those round seats that accordian out. But they’re all made from plastic and are prone to break. While at DragonCon another fellow and I swapped chairs for a moment as he had one of the accordian chairs and I wanted to try it. We both agreed that this chair was more comfy and more sturdy.

    Perfect, light, travel stool!!
I bought this specifically for our trip to Disney. I have a connective tissue disorder Ehlers Danlos and thus it affects me standing for long periods of time. Especially static in line. So I got this to be able to carry and pop out when needed to take a seat in long lines or waiting for a long time where there isn’t always somewhere to sit. Especially in the bus lines. Well this worked out FABULOUSLY! This stool is very compact and light. It was just small enough to fit into my husband’s backpack, but it was also light enough for me to carry myself on occasion without bothering my shoulders too much or at all. The seat is small but comfortable enough for short spurts. 20-30 min would be tops and then you would need to take a walk or move around a bit or just stand up. I occasionally allowed my kids to sit on my lap for a few moments as well and it was tolerable, if it wasn’t I would have had to make them get off right away. It really is so light though and that is what made it so perfect.I also have used it around the house out picking blueberries and it worked great! The kids also grab it and use it around the house. If we go hiking or camping I would definitely take it with me. Anywhere you might go that you need a break and may not have a seat available and sitting on the ground is not conducive to your body (like me) this is a great stool it is very lightweight and compact and comfortable. Definitely worth it!!!Also wanted to note that the strap is adjustable and also can be unclipped if you need to remove it or want to clip it to your pack or something else. It should be long enough for most people to comfortably carry it around over their shoulder.I am 5’4 and a sz med about 130lbs.

Surprisingly sturdy, easy to carry — and perfect even for pregnant users!
I bought the travel chair ”Big Slacker” after comparing it carefully with five other options from different brands, and I’m so glad I did! I specifically chose the Big Slacker version because it’s a bit larger than the standard model — I knew it would be used not only by me but also by people who aren’t necessarily very slim, so I wanted the extra space and weight capacity.Even though I was worried that the larger size might make it heavier or awkward to carry, that never happened. It’s still very compact, folds easily, and has a handy strap that makes it super convenient to bring anywhere.Although it’s marketed for camping and outdoor activities, I actually use it for construction site visits — I’m an architect, and my sister, who is also an architect and currently pregnant, uses it too. One thing that really stands out: the metal legs feel solid and strong, and you can really tell they’re built to support your weight. You never feel like you’ll fall — which is especially important when someone pregnant is using it. The last thing you want is to worry about tipping over, and with this chair, that’s not an issue at all.The height is comfortable for someone who isn’t very tall (like 5’7″ and above). I’d definitely recommend this chair to other friends and colleagues who are also architects. After standing on site for several hours, it can get really uncomfortable — and having a chair like this makes a huge difference. It’s truly a great tool to have for work.Overall, I spent quite a bit of time researching before buying, and I’m really happy with this choice. If you’re worried it might feel flimsy or too bulky — don’t be. It’s sturdy, safe, compact, comfortable.

Great quality, potential problems with stability on a trail
I really like the chair. I’ve only had it for 3 days but I know it’s good quality. The frame is well made. It’s height isn’t too high or too low.It is really lightweight great for camping and hiking. It looks great. It’s extremely easy to use just pull apart the legs and it works. One positiveIt is great qualityOne negativeThe feet are flat on the ground, which is great for indoor use, but as someone who camps and has used tripod chairs in the past it being flat is not ideal for rocky areas due to it not being level. Not a huge problem though.

Compact and well built. Easy to keep in your vehicle
This is a perfect chair to keep in your vehicle. Very compact and comfortable to sit in for a while. Basically just compacts to a short roll. Feels well built. I bought two to keep in my Bronco. You can’t beat the convenience.
