Simple Modern
Simple Modern 12oz travel coffee mug keeps my tea very warm for hours as long as the lid is closed. The handle is a nice touch to this design, however the only problem I have is it doesn’t fit in my car cup holders. Regardless, I’ve purchased 3 in various colors because I like the product. Everything I’ve purchased by S|M is of great quality!

Works Great in my Car
Very nice mug! It keeps your beverage hot. The lid also keeps the beverage sealed as best it can. I say that because if the beverage is too hot, the steam will create pressure and pop the top off.

I have a problem swallowing and have to slow down my drinking, so this cup has a twofold benefit. One it keeps my tea hot while making me slow down as I drink. I’ve heard that people say that they have trouble closing it to right place, if you’re right handed, place handle to right set top to where it is ready to screw on make sure you’re at top left corner and once it’s tight it’ll be at front right where you want it to be. Hope that helps. Only problem I have is that I drink hot tea which stains and have a lot of trouble getting lid clean. But cup is well worth the money I paid, well made and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a drink to stay hot from start to finish..

Does the job, but has some questionable design issues.
I added a star because once the lid is worked in it becomes easier to attach it the right way–meaning it’s easy to attach it for a right-handed drinker, or left-handed drinker for that matter. However, the lid hole stopper still takes too much effort to close it. If not for that it would be a five-star review.I does a great job keeping hot coffee hot, and I’m sure it will also keep cold drinks cold. The science of thin-wall insulation seems well developed. I like the color I chose, purely personal, I know, but the finish is quite tough and durable.So, what’s not to like? The lid mainly. It’s a screw on lid which means there are two ways of putting it on, one way for right handed drinkers and another for left handed. It seems to bind easily, and you have to pay attention to what position to start in or you end up either doing it over or drinking with your opposite hand.Plus, the closure is a bar that snaps over the edge of the lid. To close it takes so much pressure that it hurts my hand, I usually just hammer it with a knife handle, it’s that tight. Maybe it’s just the one I bought, but i won’t buy another one of this size.I hate to throw shade, but if they had a better lid design on their 12 ounce cup they would be basking in five star ratings.

Cute and reliable
This cup keeps my yea hot for hours. I’m a nurse and I don’t get to drink my coffee or tea right away very often. But if I make a drink at 630am, it will still be warm well into 1pm. It’s so easy to carry and I never worry about spills.

Great mug for keeping water cold
My favorite mug. I use it for water, and it keeps the water cold even without the lid. The mug is light weight, yet sturdy, and the perfect size.

Coffee does not stay hot
Soooo… here’s the thing. This mug is cute. Like SUPER cute. I bought the lavender one. The handle is also comfortable and the twist on top is great, not letting any liquid seep out. Just don’t over tighten cuz it’s really hard to open.Anyway, the one major thing this mug claims to do, it doesn’t do. It doesn’t even keep my coffee hot during the 30-45 minutes it takes me to drink it. Yeah, I’m a slow sipper. Also, the coffee was hot but not boiling hot, so maybe that has something to do with it. But I wouldn’t suggest boiling hot anything in a mug like this. Long story short, if you like your hot liquids to stay hot longer than 45 minutes, this isn’t the mug for you. I can’t speak for anything cold as I only use it for coffee and tea. It’s cute though and I’ll keep using it.

I liked this one!
Out of several thermal mugs I ordered, this is the one I kept. I intend to get another one for a color change sometime. I sent the others back. Sorry, but I am a huge coffee drinker, and I always have a cup in my hand. I was trying to find an old Haers mug that really works great but I guess they don’t make them anymore. Anyway, this kept my coffee hotter than the rest I tried, not near what they say, but good for a while…

The design and colour are super great !The lid will tighten either left or right in the perfect place! Line up the opening near the handle for a left handed cup – or away from the handle for a right handed cup! Brilliant ! The finish is matt and dishwasher safe! The closure snaps tight and spill proof. I purchased them so to keep bugs out when on the patio and to keep drinks cold (or hot) – throughout the night. I filled mine at 9:00pm and still had ice at 5:00 am. Slim and light weight! Price was very reasonable too. Perfect for a nice morning hot coffee – everyday.
