Perfect beach shade solution.
Outstanding product! Worked beautifully on our stay in Myrtle Beach. Shade was more than enough for four people. Also bought the tie downs in case of no wind, but didn’t need it. Even slight breeze kept the Shibumi overhead. Much better than trying to keep umbrellas from blowing away in the wind. Easy setup with two people, but not hard for one. Packaging make it easy to carry and put away. Well worth it.

Absolutely love this shade!
Love it! Perfect size for our needs. This sun shade is genius! Developers thought of everything, including the carry case. The support rod clicks together quickly with interior elastic. The sandbag (which is actually the carry case) is already attached to the frame. The arc frame holds the fabric in shape all the way to the end, maximizing dependable shade area. When it’s time to go home, the rods have a compartment of their own inside the carry case so you don’t struggle to get everything inside. It’s lightweight with straps for easy carrying. It’s perfect. Congrats to the developers!!!

Easy to put up, light enough to carry, large enough to shade 4 and gear
Game changer. I can not recommend the Shibumi enough! For a nice beach day without the harsh reality of the sun beating down on you, the Shibumi was the answer for us. It is easy to set up. It is light to carry. As long as there is a slight breeze, the Shibumi will remain waving in the air. We just shifted the poles if the wind changed direction to catch the optimal amount wind. I felt it was definitely worth the money as the price point was a little more than what i was willing to pay. I am glad I did. I purchased the original size and it was large enough for 4 adult chairs and our bags to comfortably be shaded. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend the Shibumi.

This is the best for beach shade
We used umbrellas for years and they would not last. We opted for this, as they became more and more popular. Definitely pricey, but well worth it! Set up is very easy, go watch a youtube video first. It provided plenty of shade for us. Packing it up is a challenge, but it is nice and compact.

Worth it
We love our Shibumi. We bought the older model to save on price and I do think it was worth it. It provided great breeze and shade for our family of 6. We did have one day with very little breeze and of course it didn’t function as normal (but also to be expected). Even with that annoyance one of the days, I am glad we bought it. Easy install and breakdown.

Awesome!
Awesome shade, easy to put up and much lighter and less bulky than our old umbrella. The only issue we had was the beach police made up back up from the shore because it was blocking the view? The shade is easy to move and put away, my husband loves it!

Amazing!
Super easy to put together with 1 person (2 is ideal but not required). Materials seem high quality, especially the tent pole. Takes about 3min to put up and similar time to take down – the longest part for me is filling up the stuff sack with sand. I’ve taken this out 5 times since I bought it earlier this month and it’s the first beach tent I’ve bought that I feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth with. Extremely happy I finally spent the money on it. Works great with low wind at my beach back home (Lake Michigan – the $35 wind assist is pretty essential for shade with minimum to no wind though) and great in the NJ beach ocean wind! I spend tons of time at the beach and see using this for years. Weighs next to nothing and fits in my beach backpack, I ride a scooter with it with no issues. I have the Mini – I know it says up to 4 people, but I personally think that would be too snug. 2 people, some bags, and a cooler or 2 fit great!
