Nice item.
This is an easy to use and light weight device to give you a little more security and alert you if you door is moved. It also give some protection from your door being opened by a credit card or similar. Good value and I recommend it.

I gave this item 4 stars because I couldn’t get it to fit in my door and stay when I shut it. That being said, I still really like it; it’s extremely sensitive to touch, and all I ended up having to do was hang it on the door, and if you so much as even touched that door the alarm went off. It’s not quiet either, which is a good thing. I realize this isn’t how it’s supposed to be used, but it still works rather well this way. I’ve had them for quite a while. It’s possible I’m doing something wrong, but I tried them on quite a few doors in friends houses (old houses, where the door piece that goes in the strike is quite small). I’d imagine it’d work perfectly on a hotel door, though the trip I bought them for was cancelled. Nevertheless, it’s extremely sensitive, loud, and I feel like it gives me an extra layer of protection. If the alarm went off because the doorknob, or door was moved I’d wake up immediately. I feel like I t was worth the money, but I do use it in conjunction with a few other security measures. I must say, I’ve had it for quite a while and there’s really not any wear and tear on it; I can’t believe how long the batteries have lasted. If you’re on the fence about purchasing it, I think it’s worth it. I have 2.

Travel lock -doesn’t work for standard hotel rooms
Great idea but this doesn’t work in the hotel doors. But it does work well in my apartment bedroom door.

Great little Gadget for Safety! get 2!
OMG! This product made us feel safe at the Air BBs we stayed at. Being 2 ladies who travel, you can never be too safe. It was easy to use. We appreciated that it is lightweight, plenty loud and annoying to let any would-be intruder know to leave. It fit all the doors. I ordered 2 since I recalled one of the places had a front and back door. At the price, it was WORTH it! This is going to go with me on all my trips from now on.

Easy to use & I feel safe!
I live alone in an apartment and although it is in a beautiful complex I didn’t want to fall into a false sense of security. This tool is fantastic! It took a few uses for me to get the hang of “installing” it, now I just slide it in and lock the door. I like the volume control & that it is rechargeable. Will bring travelling as well. I only paid $9.99 for peace of mind night after night. Recommend highly!
