Definitely works on most doors, but how quickly can you remove it
Neat gadget that works well at locking a door. It works on most hotel and other types of doors but not all. Seems sturdier than the popular Addalock Portable Door. I have both and both are effective. The only small concern I have about this lock is removing the locking screw during an emergency if you need to quickly go out the door. You will likely have to spin the screw 4-5 times on the bolt in order to remove the lock. How quickly can you do it in a panic situation? I do recommend this lock. I also recommend practicing removing it quickly in case you ever need to do so. I do not recommend it for anyone with hand dexterity issues.

I got this for my travel to Europe and it didn’t work. It didn’t fit any door size where I was staying. I counted on this and was very disappointed.

This will provide you the extra security needed to make you feel more comfortable in a hotel. Very easy to install, it holds the door so well you don’t even need the locks that come with the door. It’s extremely easy to install and it works on any door. If needed you can remove it very quickly once installed it will fit perfectly everytime and tighten it up and it’s extremely sturdy.

It’s an additional lock that gives me comfort in the hotels I venture to for work. Fairly straight forward operation. I’ve not been able to place it on a door with out taking it apart but the additional steps don’t bother me. It’s worth the piece of mind.
