A good tasting crunchy bar.
A nice way to become acquainted with the bars and the different flavors. I like the crunchy texture and the fact they are gluten free and vegan. I switched from another bar because I enjoy the texture of this one more than the chewy bars. It’s a little small, but it will stave off hunger and has a good amount of protein and is fairly low in sugar.

The only gluten-free/dairy-free bars that works with my food sensitivities
Finding a protein bar has become a nightmare for me because I have to avoid gluten, dairy, almonds, sunflower seeds, soy, flex, chia, and too much sugar/carbs. It’s very hard to find one that checks all those boxes. While I wish it didn’t have any nut butter, seed butter, or chocolate, this one works for me. The taste is good, and it has a nice crunch. It’s not a big bar, but it still gives a good amount of protein and calories (which I need). I would recommend it for people like me who are extra sensitive.

Good but inconsistent between batches
I’m torn on these. I really love the flavor and when they are good; the texture is excellent (more on this below). I hate pasty chewy protein bars. Mezcla offered a promising alternative in the textural department by using pea protein puffs which are great. They are easy to digest (I don’t have a problem with legume based FODMAPs) and work as a good mid-morning snack. The bars survive shipping well and are good take to work.Why not 5 stars?I’ve ordered 3 different flavors four times over and have a reasonable amount of data for comparison. The problem is when these bars are good – they are absolutely exceptional. But there is significant variation between batches. The good batches are light and crunchy with delicious flavor. But not all batches are the same. Some of them have the texture of a pasty powerbar (yuck!) with a crunchy topping. Sometimes the hazelnut flavor is not pronounced and sometimes the pistachio bar is lacking in pistachio flavor. Sometimes you only taste chocolate.I suspect some of these are growing pains for a small company but they need to focus on quality assurance and ensure their suppliers are providing ingredients of consistent quality. I can’t give them five stars until they get this right but otherwise the product would deserve five stars. I really want their product to succeed.

Truly crunchy and flavorful protein bars
Our new favorite protein bars. While we lean towards the variety pack in our subscription, if you want to just get one single flavor the best are probably the vanilla matcha, blueberry maple, and pistachio chocolate. What separates all of the “meh” protein bars from the really good ones (for us anyway) is the Absence of that stiff, gooey consistency that so many are stuck with. Mezcla, Kind, and NuGo are the only ones that maximize protein while minimizing the fat/sugars (especially Mezcla) yet still keep the crunchy tactile appeal via the “crispies” in their bars. I’ll concede that the super-high protein bars likely have to be play-doh-like in order to achieve 20g protein in under 200 kcal but it ain’t worth it if you’re struggling to chew, swallow a bunch of whey sawdust compressed into molasses.

Good but pricy
I’m really impressed with Mezical Bars — they strike that rare balance between healthy and crave-worthy. The texture is soft and chewy without being sticky, and the flavor feels more like a real snack than a “protein bar.” I love that they’re made with clean ingredients and don’t have that chalky or artificial taste that so many bars do.They’re perfect for busy mornings or a quick pick-me-up between clients. I keep a few in my salon bag and they always hit the spot. You can tell the brand paid attention to quality — even the packaging feels elevated.✅ Truly a bar you’ll want to reach for every day — nourishing, not boring.🚫 They are on the pricey side so even though you get a case the case is expensive and cost prohibited

Great snack, a nice departure from other protein bars
I really like these protein bars, as they are tasty without being overly sweet, and have a texture which is much more pleasing than some protein bars I have had which seem to be made with sawdust and cardboard. Really like the addition of the puff crispiness. I would say the pistachio flavor is subtle, but a nice combination with the chocolate.

Love this while pregnant
The variety and uniqueness of the flavors is great! This is a snack I’d typically enjoy, but especially now being pregnant, I appreciate the little bit of sweetness, good clean ingredients and extra protein. Ideal for snacks and cravings on the go!

Pretty good bar
This is a great protein/energy bar: yummy flavors, great crunch, and clean ingredients. This particular flavor is too sweet for me so I gave it 4 stars.
