Best Camping Chair I’ve Owned
I’ve tried a bunch of different camping chairs, and this one is by far the best fit for me. It packs down super small, light enough to throw in a backpack, and I can just hike it up to a mountain top or a scenic spot and pop it open for a comfy break. Setup is quick, and I really like the side pockets on both arms — such a thoughtful touch. It’s also great at the campsite at night, the height is just perfect for sitting around the fire. The only thing to keep in mind is the size — it’s not a big chair and it sits a bit low, so definitely check the measurements in the description before buying. Overall, I really like this chair. Honestly, it makes me enjoy camping even more, haha!

Great value for the price!
It’s lightweight, easy to carry in the bag, and surprisingly comfortable for long sitting. Setting it up takes less than a minute, and it feels stable even on uneven ground. Perfect for camping, beach trips, or just relaxing in the backyard.

Light, stable, and comfortable
Fantastic chair. This is my first portable and it’s in some ways more comfortable than some larger outdoor chairs I’ve had. Feels quite stable and a hammock like bounciness to it. The cup holder delivers. Appears to be a high quality material. I’m also often challenged at assembling things like this but it was very quick and simple.

Almost completely comfortable
So I’m watching a movie and sitting in this chair. I first wanted a chair like this since I saw somebody sitting in one on the corner of the park during my drive home for work one evening. I thought, “How genius, a man biked to the corner of the park, unfolded his chair and is reading a book! I can be just like that.” So here I am, in this chair, from which I’ve read my favorite book, Adventurous bike rides of north america. When buying a product online I know sometimes it can be a huge risk. This was a reward for randomly shopping- I must say I should get paid for trying these products and leaving reviews because this is just one camp chair and I would like to try many more to see how they support my spine to the direct direction of how I want my spine to curve when I’m fully relaxed, this chair gives me 80% appreciation for spine curvature without having to get into specifics and body dynamics. Also there are pockets on both sides of the chair which somehow come in handy- thanks ingenuity inventors for MellowCamp. I’ve had this chair for two weeks and did not even fold it up to bring it with me when I went out to nature- I just threw the thing in the front seat of my F-150.

Seems to be well made and sturdy, but is very low to the ground. I would choose a larger chair if you have mobility issues. It practically assembled itself!!!

This is a well-designed, lightweight camping chair with a couple of features that make it easier to set up and take down than others I’ve tried. I already have a similar chair, but this one is sturdier. The triangular design of the base makes it much stronger than others with a square base.The centre tube clicks into place first, which helps the rest of the frame come together quickly. Attaching the seat fabric still takes a bit of muscle, but the small finger loops at the corners make it a lot easier to pull the posts into position. One other feature I liked is in the legs—when you fold them, there are little notches to help you know which way it should go without criss-crossing the posts from one side of the chair to the other.Comfort-wise, this is meant to be a portable chair, not a lounger. The back sits low, so you can’t lean your head back, and the seat is fairly close to the ground, so if you have creaky knees, this will be tough to get out of.I like to keep it in my vehicle. It doesn’t take up much space, and it’s easy to carry to things like kids’ sports or outdoor concerts.

I’ve taken this chair out a few times now, and while it’s got a lot going for it, like how lightweight and portable it is, I don’t think it’s the best choice for larger people like myself. It’s rated to hold up to 330lbs, but I found it a bit too small at my weight of 243lbs as the seat height is quite low to the ground and the seat size doesn’t leave much room for a more comfortable sit, which makes getting in and out of it a bit awkward. Still useable, just not completely comfortable.That said, the overall build quality is good. The aluminum frame feels sturdy enough to hold my weight, and the mesh back adds some breathability which I appreciated during these warmer days. I also liked the extra features like the side pocket and cup holder, useful and came in handy while camping.Setup is quick and straightforward, and it folds down small enough to fit in a backpack. So for short outings or if you’re of average size or smaller, it could work really well. But for me, the comfort just wasn’t quite there, especially for longer sits.
