Amazing gimbal for some great shots
Bought this as a gift and they absolutely loved it! The quality is really good and it’s easy to use. Love the functions on it and having the remote be removable is really great as well. Gives you some good quality shots and for the value you can’t beat it. I will say though that it is a bit heavier than you’d imagine once you put your phone on it, but it’s nothing crazy. Only gripe with this is if you extend the gimbal itself all the way and take out the stand/legs on it the gimbal will tip over. Would’ve liked that it would stay up the entire time. So be mindful of that when shooting.

I absolutely love the hohem iSteady V3 Ultra. Right out of the box, it feels very comfortable and premium in the hand—solid but not too heavy. The setup was super easy thanks to the helpful video tutorial included.The standout feature for me is the AI tracking. I bought this specifically to film my dog running, and it does not disappoint! It locks onto him instantly and keeps the footage buttery smooth even when he’s moving fast. If you need a gimbal that makes shooting high-quality videos effortless, this is the one. Highly recommended!

Good overall
A little difficult to figure out how to use it. Sometimes the gyro just makes the phone flip upside down when I am trying to video. It could be possibly be user error but happens randomly. The app is great and it does track well and makes video stable and smooth. Battery does last well and the unit is sturdy.

I’ve been researching gimbap for months, so I finally found one with all the options important to me and at the best price point. It feels good in my hand, focuses and follows, and everything works as it should. A word of caution, the light source is magnetic and disconnects easily, so be careful.

Doesn’t Work On Arrival
Excited to get it finally, and charged it fully when I got it. Got the app, put my phone in the mount, and… it won’t orient itself. It moves, then falls back to no motors on and its limp. If you help it by holding the phone close to where it should be held by the gimbal, it’ll orient. The real issue is the battery. On a full charge, the gimbal died in less than 20 minutes. Thought I might have done something wrong when I charged it first time, so charged it again according to instructions (which is the same way i did it the first time). Now, less than 20 minutes again. Charged a third time, and still lasts less than 20 minutes.Disappointed considering how popular and expensive this is. I don’t know if I just got the unlucky draw and got the lemon, or if they’re all like this, but the one I got is unusable. There’s a reasonable expectation that a new item in the box should work.I reached out to Hohem and told them what happened. I hope they make it right. I’ll change my review if they do.

It is beyond my expectations. I am still learning the best way to use all the functionalities but I like it a lot.Some imperfect things observed so far: 1. light brightness adjustment range is not super wide. 2. Some latency when zooming with the remote control

Besonders das KI-Feature zum automatischen Folgen funktioniert erstaunlich gut – selbst bei schnellen Bewegungen bleibt das Bild stabil und der Fokus sitzt.Der Gimbal ist leicht, schnell einsatzbereit und perfekt für mobile Setups. Gerade für den Preis bekommt man hier richtig gute Qualität. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die alleine filmen und trotzdem dynamische Aufnahmen wollen.

I didn’t even have a chance to use the ghimbal as the tracker bit fell in the water canal. The magnet is really weak so at the slightest shake, you loose the tracker. I am extremely dissapointed with that bit. If the magnets would be better, it would be a nice piece of equipment

Bonjour à tousJe l’utilise avec un smartphone motorola G54 5G. J’ai utilisé le bluetooth pour m’enregistrer la 1ere fois et depuis j’allume le gimbal et directement le téléphone. Cela me permet d’utiliser l’appli Open Camera sans interférence avec l’appli HoHem. Seul défaut, la poignée sans la rallonge du trépied est trop courte de 2 cm. Au bout d’un moment la main glisse vers le haut et viens pousser le joystick qui vous plante votre prise de vue. J’utilise une rallonge trépied de DJI et évite ce problème. Rien à dire pour le reste.
