A nice versatile light
It’s a nice light and the stand it comes with is pretty versatile too. It has a good range of brightness and colors. I’ve owned two of these; the first one had an issue where it stopped working after awhile (it could have been the adapter I was using, it could have been the electronics, I don’t really know) but the customer service was top notch and they honored the warranty and I received a replacement very quickly. I am using a different adapter now (5V 2A, as stated in the manual) and the replacement one seems fine. No problems. I’d say give one a try, the customer service was excellent. You’ll need to buy an adapter if you don’t plan on using a usb port on your computer though, just fyi.

I’m really impressed with this ring light! The stand extends tall enough (72″) to give perfect angles whether I’m sitting or standing, and it feels very sturdy. The brightness is fully adjustable, which is great for makeup, video calls, or filming content.The phone holder is stable and secure, and I love that it comes with a remote control for convenience. Setup was quick and easy, and the quality is much better than I expected for the price.Overall, this ring light has made a big difference in my photos and videos. Highly recommend!

Didn’t last long…
Worked fine for ten months, then died. There are random small bursts of color at the bottom of the ring, but none of the buttons work.UPDATE Nov 2025: Seller reached out unprompted about their warranty and sent a free replacement. If this one lasts then this is a great product and great value. If it fails within a year I will report back

Good variety of colors, the color loop does have a hiccup or skip at the bottom though so its not a perfect loop. The cord for the light is short, so using an extension cord has been pretty much mandatoryEasy to carry and move, not particularly heavy.The light settings are nice, and have a good level of variety.Frame quality is sturdy, no present concerns about denting or scratching.The phone holder is secure and allows for portrait or landscape orientation.The battery life on the remote has been fine so far, and works out of the package.Does NOT come with a carrying case.

I bought the Weilisi 12’’ Ring Light with the 72’’ stand for my 12-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. 6 months doesn’t seem worth it….
I have changed the stars on my review because the company sent a replacement. The original review follows: It lasted 6 months. While it worked, it was beautiful, provided exactly the kind of light I needed for my vanity. But one day it just didn’t turn on. I tried a different outlet, a different block–nothing. I got maybe 12 hours out of it, aIt lasted for six months. While it worked, it was beautiful and provided the perfect kind of light I needed for my vanity. However, one day it just wouldn’t turn on. Great light! Short lifespan.
EDIT: 2 years in and the light is completely dead. Will not turn on anymore. It hadn’t taken any tumbles recently or anything, just came back from my vacation and it was no longer functional. I plugged it into a different usb slot and managed to get it to turn on a few more times, but now we’re back to nothing. So I guess the lifespan is between 1-2 years depending on usage. I used it a lot, but I was hoping for something that was a longer term solution.Original: Been using this for over a year now so I can say confidently that It’s a solid light. I use it as a lamp because I don’t have a light fixture in my office for some reason, and this was a cheap and fun solution with color and brightness customization. Doesn’t get hot or smell weird or anything like that. Was very easy to set up. My cat has gotten tangled in the chord a few times and taken it down, due to his own stupidity, but any dangly is going to be tempting for tiny fluffy idiots. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-built this ring light stand is, especially for the price — whether it’s on sale or not. It offers several colour modes and three standard studio light settings, which are perfect for both video content and photos. The light controller is conveniently located on the same cord that powers the light, allowing you to easily turn it on or off, switch between colour modes, and adjust the brightness — very user-friendly. It plugs easily into any wall outlet using a USB connector and is fairly light weight, making it super convenient to set up and take just about anywhere (USB adapter not included). The stand is surprisingly sturdy, even on uneven carpet, but since it’s a bit top-heavy, it can be knocked over if bumped — so just be mindful of your surroundings. The phone holder is adjustable to fit a variety of phone sizes and models, and it holds the device very securely which is reassuring. That said, getting your phone in and out of the holder can be a bit tricky, as you have to pull both sides apart — but it’s a small trade-off for the strong grip it provides. I love the flexibility of the setup; both the ring light and phone holder angles can be adjusted easily using a tightening knob. It also comes with a Bluetooth remote that works great for starting and stopping videos or snapping photos from a distance. Super convenient and fun, especially if you’re setting up a DIY photo booth at a party or event. Overall, this is a great buy for anyone looking to level up their content creation or just capture better memories. Highly recommend!
