My wife loves these in the car, they are trivial to install and are nice and soft yet firm enough to support you. We have a car that rides like a truck, and it hurts her when we go over speed bumps and so on. These solve her problem. I don’t have that problem, the natural bucket seat shape works for me, but I don’t find these uncomfortable. There is one caution, that they do take up two or three inches of space, so if you already have to push the seat all the way back to fit your legs into the car, these are probably not for you (for that use…you could use them on other chairs). They don’t look that sharp, since the curved sides of the bucket seat mean they’re hanging out in space on their elastic bands until you sit back on them, but they do the job which is what counts.
