Very firm and provides good support and comfort
This is a very good booster seat for short people. It’s thick and very firm and provides great support. Very comfortable when sitting on it and it doesn’t smash down under your weight like other booster seats I’ve purchased. I like this product very much and we’ll probably purchase another one. I’m short and my friend is short and when we sit at the outdoor table we feel like we’re in preschool. We just needed a little lift to get us up high enough to feel like adults at the table. This works!

Finally a genuinely sturdy cushion
This cushion is very sturdy and does not just collapse when I sit or lean against it. It is not a squishy plushy pillow, as so many of them turn out to be. I am using it mostly as a backrest in an old easy chair, and it helps me sit up straighter without sinking into the foam. I usually put another pillow in front of it for some softness, but since this cushion retains its strength, it stays very supportive.I realize this is intended as a chair seat, but my only wish is that it came in a more rectangular shape, for those of us who might use it to lean against while sitting up.

Thick/Firm/Uncomfortable but Becomes More Comfortable and Flexible with Use
Ordered this to help me when my arthritis is flaring up and I have trouble getting out of my chair. I wanted the 3 inch but reviews were not very positive with comments about it flattening and not retaining it’s shape or thickness. Reviews on the 4 inch were more positive on it retaining it’s thickness . Comments also said the 4 inch wasn’t necessarily comfortable for long periods of time. Definitely right on that. It gives a little when sat upon but not much. It’s too high for me and I’m 5’8″. Will try it for a couple of days but will probably return it for the 3 inch. Also, you will probably need scissors and a knife to open the package. I had to open the Amazon box, then the manufacturer’s box, then a shipping mailing bag, then cellophane wrapping, and finally a cardboard sleeve just to get to the cushion. Good grief. If you are looking for a thick, firm cushion, this should meet your needs. It’s just a little bit more than I need.UPDATE: After about a week of use, It has become more comfortable. It now gives a little when sitting on it making it comfortable but retains it shape and returns back up to the 4 inch height. In fact, I like it so much now, I probably will order more. Guess it just needed to be broken in.

Too hard for me
I use a wheelchair when out. I have long legs, so I need a cushion with some height so that my feet aren’t on the ground. This is a true 4″ height, and the cushion doesn’t squash down, so it is high enough to solve the problem for me.But it’s hard. Really, hard, with no give, and no indentations for bottom or legs. My butt was getting numb within 5 minutes of starting a ride in my chair. Definitely not for me.BTW, no handle to carry it. It’s a feature I would prefer to have, but wanted to try this for the height.

Dimensions are accurate
Truly 4 inches, nice and firm. This would be great for someone with hip issues, unfortunately, my issue is my back and this is a bit too high. I will recommend this product to people I know with hip issues.

I have an old office chair at home that has virtually no cushioning left in the seat. Sitting in it causes pain in my butt, literally; my sciatic nerve also hurts. I’ve tried a few other pillows and cushions, but nothing really helped until I found this one. It adds 4 inches of cushion to the seat, and has all but completely eliminated my pain. I’ve only been using it a few days, but so far it shows no signs of flattening out; I can feel how cushiony (and yet still firm) it is every time I sit down. It also stays put in the chair; all the other things I tried had to be constantly adjusted to keep them in place. Not this one; it stays right where it needs to be. This was also less expensive than a lot of the other options, which was also a factor in my deciding to give it a try. I’m sitting in the chair on this cushion all day every day, and it helps tremendously; I would recommend it to anyone who is in a similar situation.

Es un cuadro de hule espuma forrado, pero por el precio está bien.En mi caso no me sirvió para usarlo en una silla de oficina porque queda muy alto y me limitaba los movimientos. Al final resultaba más incómodo.Me parece que para hacer ejercicio donde haya que usarlo para hincarse quedaría perfecto.
