Tested out 3 brands and this was the one for me!
So I bought a gooseket, a tush baby and this. This by far has been the best one. The sling actually fits nicely around my little one’s backside and goes up their back. I still keep my arm there for stability but if I need to grab something with both hands they won’t slip out or off and are supported nicely. It fits me nicely as well. I’m not tiny and it allows space for me and the little one with room to tighten up. But we’re both comfortable.If your little one doesn’t stand well by themselves it can be a little tricky getting them into it, but just be patient and they’ll slide right in. It is very easy to cinch up once the baby is in it, not super easy to make bigger, I had to remove them from the sling, but I guess that is a nice safety feature that it won’t slide loose. Love the fabric very durable and thick.The shoulder strap is nice, if I don’t adjust properly it sits on the base of my neck but you can shift that over. I walked around with my 17lb little one doing some light house work and didn’t feel weight pressure or anything where it shouldn’t be.

Helpful for short bursts, but it does hurt your shoulder/trap muscle after wearing it for a long period of time. With 3 3 and under it’s still definitely helpful.

This works wonderfully for little ones who love being held! My baby weighs 25 lbs, and it really helps take the strain off — such a relief for my arms and back.It’s easy to put on and feels way more secure than the Tushy seat

Nice Quality, but Still Figuring Out the Fit
I picked this carrier because I wanted something that would make it easier to hold my baby during simple tasks—like cooking—without having my whole front blocked or relying so much on my arms. The material is genuinely soft and comfortable, and the color is beautiful in person. My main issue is simply figuring out how to make it work for us. My baby tends to stiffen up and “plank” every time I try to position him in it, so it’s been tricky to get him sitting the way the instructions show. It might just be that he’s still a little too small for this style, because once he’s in, it doesn’t feel quite as secure as I’d like. I do think it has potential, it’s just been a learning curve and not the effortless experience I was hoping for—at least not yet.

Pick your color wisely
Works great but is a pet hair magnet, I have a grey cat and her hair clings to this carrier. Don’t get me wrong the carrier is great but when you buy it in black (so you can use it with multiple outfits) it attracts all sorts of colors that you don’t intend it to. It’s easy to use and my baby feels secure in it as long as she’s sitting on my hip and not in the front.

Quality: always, always good with Ergobaby. This is no exception. It is thick, sturdy, and holds well. This makes it hard to adjust, but that’s exactly what you want so it doesn’t slip when baby is in it.Support: This supports the child fairly well. It is not a hands-free carrier, however. And it is not gentle on parent’s back. I find this concept comparable to the tush baby seat. It’s nice that this makes a saddle so it’s a tad easier for baby to stay in it. But I also found that this just doesn’t support well with a bigger kid. I think this would be good for a smaller kid.I used this with my 2 year old at Disneyland because I knew it would be a lot of up and down. I have previously brought my Tush baby along, so I figured I’d be able to compare. This was okay while in lines; I could pull her up fairly easily by “scooping” her into it. I liked that maneuver; my tall husband did not. He preferred picking her up and setting her on the Tush baby seat. Scooping her up was too far down, and it was nearly impossible to pick her up to put her in this sling.Walking with her in this was a bit of a nightmare for my shoulder and back. Despite the nice padding, I couldn’t get it to be comfortable. That was disappointing when I used this throughout Downtown Disney. I think this would have been perfect for her from about 8 months to 2 years (she is 27 months now if we want to get technical). It says up to 4, but using this for my oldest who recently turned 4 was just not an option. It killed my shoulder.At the end of the day, it’s good if you’re using it for quick up and downs. Standing in line. Watching a kids soccer game. Stuff like that. But for any practicality for “older” toddlers, you should just go with a baby carrier and resign yourself to taking it on and off. I really wanted to love this the way I love other Ergo’s, but this just wasn’t for me.

Lightweight, must-have!
Support, fit, quality and comfort are great. Ease of use – still need to adjust or maybe my 8 month old may still be too small to fully fit into this, which is who I bought it for. It works well on my toddler and cradles him well.

Overall, this is a very useful baby carrier. You can throw it on it two seconds, place baby in and go about your day. Keep in mind with this kind of carrier, you DO need to always have a hand on the baby – so it’s not hands free – but it takes the pressure off of carrying the baby around with one arm all the time. My little girl is almost 10 months old but just barely 16 pounds so she just BARELY fits in this (ie., it’s almost too big). The bum pocket where the baby sits is quite large, so it will not work for small babies. Babies should also be able to sit upright on their own, or almost, when using.The setup is very easy – you just need to adjust it once and then you can just throw it over your shoulder each time you need to use it. It will also grow with baby. I use this primarily when baby is feeling clingy and I can’t put her down (ie., cooking dinner, cleaning). Your neck does start to hurt after a while but you can go a lot longer than just carrying the baby with one hand. It’s also very lightweight and compact, you can toss it in your diaper bag or bring it on the airplane with you. This will last you and the baby a very long time.

I really love this sling. What a godsend. I enjoy wrapping my baby when she was little and needed contact naps, and I like using our baby carrier when we are out and about. But putting on that carrier at home was always a no for me. It felt like too much work, and I also felt like the baby was too much in the way when she was right in front of me.With this sling it is perfect. I was already used to doing things with one hand and carrying the baby with the other. This sling does not completely free both hands, but it gives you something like a hand and a half lol. You can still use your arm to hold your baby while your hand helps your other hand do stuff around the house.My baby is one pound under the minimum weight, but she still fits very nicely. I am sure she will grow into it very fast, so we are already using it. It was a little confusing at first. I went to their website and found a video on how to use it, and that video helped a lot. It shows how to undo the strap so you can actually adjust it. At the start I did not understand why it was not working for me, but it was because the strap was tucked in so it would not hang loose. When it is tucked in you cannot adjust anything. Once I figured that out I was able to get it to fit.They say you can release both straps and adjust them while the baby is inside. For me, I was only able to adjust the front strap while she was in the sling. The back strap was trickier, so I had to put her down, adjust it, and put her back in. But once the back strap is set, you will only need to adjust the front strap for snugness, and that you can easily do with the baby in the sling.I love this product. The quality is amazing. It feels like a really well-made item and it is worth the price. As a first time mom I learned very quickly that you cannot go cheap with baby stuff. I already regretted buying so many cheap things and always ended up having to buy the proper versions after. This sling feels like one of those purchases you will not regret.
