Best for tea
I bought this for carrying my herbal tea around the house without spilling. I have a larger double walled stainless steal mug for morning coffee in my car. This mug is really well made. The ceramic is very thick and the rubber and lid are solid and fit snugly. Really glad I bought it. My metal mug is OK for the car, but I wanted something nicer for my evening tea. Metal cups and tea don’t mix well for me. The ceramic keeps the tea hot enough for the 20 minutes or so it takes me to drink, but it grows lukewarm if you set it down and forget it for too long. So maybe not something that would work in the car for a commute. Just so much nicer to drink from.

Awesome addition to the home office!
This was purchased as a gift for my fiancé, but she has graciously allowed me to use it a few times. Personally, I wouldn’t travel with a ceramic mug, but it’s perfect for the home office. I love the fact it looks like take-out coffee.It definitely keeps coffee warm longer than the giant ceramic mug I normally use, although I don’t think it’s quite as good at heat retention as my stainless travel mug. That said, this mug is nice to drink out of. It has a nice hefty weight and the silicon grip is comfortable in the hand. The silicon bottom is easy to slip off for cleaning, too. Overall, I like it a lot.

I love drinking my coffee out of a ceramic mug, but really wanted something that I could 1) use in the car (no handle, no splash), and 2) keep coffee hot moderately longer than a regular open top mug. This does fit the bill. I use it in the house, on the patio, and in the car. Doesn’t keep the coffee hot for “hours”, but it’s perfect for my not-to-far work commute or for drinking coffee on the patio in the morning. Good. Until it tipped over and broke.
Positives: Nice looking. Kept coffee warm.Negatives: Held a little less fluid than I expected, because of thick walls and lid sliding inside.Broke first time it was knocked over on a marble counter. Not dropped, not thrown, accidentally tapped on the side while full, and because of the top-heavy shape, it fell over, splitting the ceramic.

Great looking, secure gripping and perfect fit to cupholders
Great size for cupholders and grip (enhanced by louvered grip which makes is as slip proof as reasonably expected. Top seals nicely. I only hand wash this one so cannot comment on dishwasher experience – with the grip and top seal working perfectly, why risk high heat side effects?. Thickness nice but will not survive a drop on tile (this is my second one – the first being knocked off counter by accident onto ceramic tile floor. At least the top survived without damage so now i have a backup top should I ever need it. Looks and feels great and overall fully satisfied with the purchase. Note that heat retention and volume are not a strength realistically holds about 10 oz. unless you want to fill close to rim. Heat retention is about the same as any ceramic mug with a little extra due to lid. But it was purchased to fit perfectly into one of those does-it-all reclining chairs, and provide low spill or drop rates, and from those perspectives its scores 10/10. It is a perfect fit into the smaller bottom section, making it secure at any reclining position. Not a drop has come out.

My favorite coffee mug. The shape is perfect and easy to hold and the silicone bumper on the bottom is nice and also the one that wraps around the cup is a great and makes the cup feel more secure in your hand.Can only make an 8 ounce coffee in it though and wish this cup also came in a size larger.Keeps coffee hot for quite a while.

Very nice mug but the design is bad. The silicone sleeve and bottom are removable but that bottom piece comes off easy. I ended up losing mine after only a couple of uses. It looks odd without it plus I don’t like the sound of ceramic banging on tables so I ended up throwing it away.

Absolutely terrible!! This is the second UDMG I purchased from Amazon. Both are cracked and are not usable. The last one fell over on the bench it was sitting on, and simply cracked. Terrible, and I can’t get a refund.

It’s nicely constructed and the silicon details are nice. However the double wall isn’t great at keeping drink hot, it’s the lid that helps if anything. It’s also kind of pricey for what you get. Don’t really recommend.

Arrived safe and no damage. Product exactly as shown. Silicon sleeve and bottom part comes of and on with ease. Cap feels solid enough. Not sure if it will leak but don’t plan on tipping it at any point or carrying it in a bad full. Will try to use in microwave and dishwasher.
