THIS LITTLE GEM IS A WINNER!
I am always on a mission creating organizational projects on a budget. As the sole tea drinker in the house, I wanted representation at the coffee station I created in the kitchen. As for the kettle portion of the project, I was disappointed that I couldn’t find any affordable glass kettles under 1.2L with white handles. I literally bought 14 electric kettles of all shapes, sizes (.6L-1.7L) and prices (8.99-59.99) (thank you for your generous return policy Amazon!) Learning far more about kettles than I expected (or wanted), I found plenty of issues with most of them. THIS LITTLE GEM CHECKED ALL THE BOXES! PROS: The 1L size is perfect for a few cups of tea. It has the VITAL auto shut off and boil dry protection SAFETY FEATURES. The base sits nice and flat on the counter, so the kettle is easily removed and replaced without it being wobbly. I hadn’t considered how much a black cord can affect the overall appearance of the unit! I have a light-colored kitchen, so the WHITE CORD blended perfectly. The white and grey is wonderfully NEUTRAL and DISCREET making it work with any kitchen color scheme. Water heats up quickly and stays hot surprisingly long after auto shut off. There’s a WINDOW so you can monitor the water level as well! Finally, THE PRICE! It was one of the most affordable of all the kettles found from any online retailer. CONS: NONE! However, the manual (I use that term loosely) states not to leave plugged in when not in use. The whole point of the electric base is that you don’t have to plug and unplug the kettle with each use. Total deal breaker for me. I confirmed with manufacturer that it DOES in fact have the same safety features as the other pricier electric kettles, and I found at least one similar line in some of the other kettles’ manuals, so I am inclined to think it is a CYA clause. I did change the 3 ft extension cord to one with a surge protector / on off switch just in case because I’m OCD like that. I personally think this is a little too bulky for travel when there are certainly more compact options available for that use SHORT VERSION: DON’T THINK TWICE ABOUT PURCHASING the AIGOSTAR KETTLE!

Perfect cute size, super fast boil
This boiler is so cute. The size reminds me of small kitchens in Asia. Perfect handle. Lid works well. Nice mesh filter by spout. Boils super quick. Moderately quiet.

Inexpensive, but effective and simple
Brought mine to work to use for morning tea, and after a month or so, I’m still happy with it. It’s plastic, don’t think otherwise, but after two boils, the smell of plastic went away and now it’s a great, easy to use little kettle. It brings a cup of water up to a rolling boil in probably less than 60 seconds at sea level (I’ve never timed it, and live in Louisiana,) the switch is large and easy to access, it fills and empties nicely, and has a built-in sort of screen filter at the pour spout if you’re some sort of madman and like to boil tea leaves in your kettle. Will it replace my good metal kettle at home? No. Is it great for the office and does it beat using the coffee maker in your hotel room for hot water? Heck yes.

Perfect little electric, teapot, lightweight
Purchase this for a friend who was having a mastectomy. She was told she couldn’t lift anything more than 5 pounds and her tea kettle weighed more than that with water in it. I found this 1 pound electric kettle on Amazon and purchased it for her. It’s exactly what she needed and was so appreciative for it. Perfect for one person or anyone with a very small home or apartment and limited space for storage.

Great Little Kettle!
i wanted to replace a metal tea kettle (that heated water on the stove) that rusted out not long after purchasing it. On a recent trip to the UK I enjoyed the electric kettles in my hotel rooms that boiled water quickly, so decided to look for one to use at home. Everything in the stores was too big. (I am the only one using this) Came across this one on Amazon and it is great. The size is perfect. I fill it about a quarter full for the size mug I use, so you certainly can heat more than one serving of hot water in it at a time. Water comes to the boil very quickly, then the pot automatically shuts off. There have been a couple times I wasn’t right there when it reached the boiling point, but even after sitting for a few minutes the water was still plenty hot. I keep this stored away in an appliance cupboard, but it is certainly attractive enough to keep set out on a counter. It shipped quickly, perfect condition, and a great price. Highly recommend.
