I got this for my upcoming trip. I am very happy to say that by using this added secure door lock, I was able to sleep well. It was ready to used out of the package. I find it very easy to use. It doesn’t weigh much and the size is like a bottle opener. Another plus for me is that it comes with its own pouch. For me the price is very reasonable and gives me added peace of mind that nobody can enter my hotel door. I highly recommend this for solo women travelers. Please nite that this can only work for doors opening inwards. I was planning on also using this for my cruise but the cabin door opens outward.

Excellent Extra Security!
I used this when I pet/house sat at my Sister’s house. She admitted an ex still had her key and I was not interested in getting an unwelcome guest while there. My husband is a very fit man and attempted to open the door to test its effectiveness. It worked great! I will plan to use it when we travel as some places use the same code for each tenant. The alarm is loud and works well even on laminate floors.

So idk how all of these people are having doors that the device doesn’t work with, it’s worked on every outside access door that I’ve tried. And I’ve tried 4 of them at different locations. Maybe they weren’t following the instructions correctly? Idk. But this thing is phenomenal!!! It takes a bit of messing with to get it in properly but after it’s in? Good luck opening that door once the “key” is engaged in this device. And I really tried to pull that sucker open, and so did my friend. I would give it ten stars if I could! a lone traveler’s safety is no joke and this device is amazing!!! Side note it did bend a wee bit but it still does its job phenomenally. I highly recommend it.

Did not fit any door I tried. I tried doors in the house (front and interior doors), hotel room and bathroom door. None of the doors allowed enough space for the piece to go between the door and the frame. The claws no matter the setting fit into the lock. Not sure if I got a faulty one.

Its cute and seems as if it will work but if they kick the door its all over!! It doesn’t take an abusive dude that much to get angry enough to kick the door in when you lock them out. Its easy to use once you figure it out but doesn’t keep them out. Ladies know your worth!!

Every trip when traveling and staying at hotels, motels or resorts, I make sure to have this with me every time. It is easy to set up once you figure which side to use and the door closes easily once it is in place. The quality and durability is awesome! And for the price, I say it is worth it!

I recently travelled to a city with a high crime rate for work. I was nervous after calling the hotel about people being able to get onto the floors. It ended up being totally inflated – the hotel was quite secure – BUT, used this anyway. It’s SUPER easy to install and I tested it – it worked great. Is it impenetrable? I don’t know – but you would have to make a lot of noise to break it – so I think that would be a great deterrent and allow you to call for help or at least prepare to fight if necessary.

I travel solo for work and sometimes for travel.And this gives me that extra peace of mind, knowing that there are no possibilities of intruders coming into my hotel room, based on some of the things I have recently seen on social media. It is easy to use and easily taken off in a hurry if you need to.I think that when I purchased it, it was great value for money. It is solid built very well with quality.And yeah, we’ll stand up over time in my opinion. Great fit with hotel doors.
