Perfect for car camping
I’m loving this for car camping! I use it for pour over coffee, oatmeal, and to warm up my dish water.It takes about 3-4 min to boil a full kettle from really cold water.Best part, it folds down small and has a bag. It also barely affects my power station charge because it’s so fast.

It heats up pretty quick! Not noisy at all. The color is nice and it’s super easy to use. It holds up to 0.6L you can only fill it up to the second line

Perfect for mom!
I purchased this Kettle for traveling with my mother who drinks tea all day every day. In most US hotels they do not carry kettles only coffee machines.Pros: affordable, compact, easy to use, easy to clean, has an on light to indicate when it is turned on!Cons: it is tricky to fold back to the small travel size. My senior mother could not figure it out and would have to ask me to do it for her. It would also stop working after the first use making us have to change location of where we had it plugged in if we wanted to use it twice in a row. Meaning we would have to move it from outlet to outlet. Not sure why, but then it would work for us.It heats up quickly and effectively! There is no strange smell and it automatically shuts off so you don’t have to worry while getting ready.

DOA – update DANGER!!!!
The plug or something connected (actually NOT connected) the plug is glitchy. It turns on for .5 seconds, then off. Then on with the button indicating off – and off again. Change outlet – same thing. Everything else I plug into those outlets works, so I know it’s not the outlet. Great idea if it actually worked. Update: I turned it on last nigh – sparks were flying, and before I could unplug it, it was on fire. LITERALLY FLAMES So lucky I was standing there. The sparks started where the plug inserts into the unit. There was no power surge or anything that could be at fault other than this – unit. If you bought it, and can still return it – do so. If not, stop using it, or if you DO use it, stand there and watch it.

I have taken this on 2 long trips so far. Water boils in a few minutes. Holds enough water for 2 cups of tea, coffee, single soups/ramen or hot cereal in your hotel room. Packs nicely in any luggage, even an overnight bag. Love this gadget.

Works until it doesn’t…
It’s great for light use. But I bought this because van life has found me, and only 3 weeks of daily use and it simply stopped working. I would return but the window has closed. For daily use opt for the slightly pricer ones. I paid about $15 for this one. Great for the occasional hotel stay, but not a long term item.
