6 Simple Steps to Set Your Own Combination
Step 1 Dial to the current code, pull out the shackle.
Step 2 Turn the shackle 90° counterclockwise to the code setting gap.
Step 3 Press the shackle down until the shackle pin is all the way inside the gap. Hold it until finishing step 4.
Step 4 Turn the shackle another 90° counterclockwise to the code line.
Step 5 Scroll the dials to set your own combination. Step 6 Turn the shackle back to code setting gap, lift it up and then back to the original position.

Made it right
I initially wrote a review with 2 stars because 1 of 2 locks I purchased broke after just 2 uses (arm wouldn’t lock down). It was past the time to return. The company reached out and provided suggestions on how possibly to fix. When that didn’t work, they sent a new one. Again, the arm didn’t lock down due to some error in the default combination. They suggested different combinations but it didn’t work. So they sent me another! No questions, just truly wanting to make it right and always prompt in responding. This one works great like my other. It’s sturdy, numbers are easy to turn and see. Locks may be locks, but hands down, this was the best customer service I’ve had in a looooong time! Kudos to Sara for winning back a customer. Would recommend since zero risk.

Pretty and Practical
Pretty lock that works well. I took one star away because the lock seemed to move a stiff and seems a bit light compared to a previous brand I purchased years ago. I also have to say the instructions were accurate, but with out a photo I was confused as to how to set my combination. Luckily I found a YouTube video and set it quickly.I haven’t used it to travel yet, but sure my luggage will be secure as I yanked the lock a few times after locking twice.Beautiful color, great price and easy to use.

This lock was horrible! I used it for an international trip and it failed miserably. I had to get into my bag a few times at the airport so I left it unlocked, no big deal, I just didn’t want to keep unlocking it to get into my bag. When I did finally lock it, it had reset itself 🙁 The lock was absolutely useless the entire trip. Now I will need to cut it off my bag.Never again.
