This UTEX Baby Portable Changing Pad is lightweight, oh so soft, and very well-made with a leak-proof 5-layer design. For peace of mind, this set is certified to meet or exceed all safety standards set by CPSC and ASTM.The subtle pink and white stripe pattern works well for me as I don’t want a bunch of conflicting baby patterns in all the gear that is necessary to haul around that first year of babyhood! This changing pad has slightly stretchy fabric on the outside with a super soft, white terry lining that has two wide elastic straps to hold securely any extras needed to be kept inside. The lining and the outer knit fabric are layered with breathable waterproof PU, a durable base layer and polyester staple fiber filling. Just wipe it off and go … plenty of time for laundry later. When fully open, the changing pad measures 33″x34″ on a diagonal and it folds up to an 11 x 8.5″ size sort of like a clutch handbag. Just fold it, snap it closed and place it inside the included matching drawstring bag. There is even room in the bag to pack in a few other essentials. Just pack it and go! I’m impressed with the quality of this set, especially for the low cost. This would be a big hit as a baby shower gift.

Convenient
This changing pad has been a great help for us. The surface feels soft and warm, which works especially well during the winter months when my baby needs a little extra comfort. When we go out, I used to spend a lot of time wiping down hard surfaces with many disinfecting wipes before changing a diaper. Now I just take this pad out of the bag, and the process feels much easier and cleaner. The material has a gentle touch, and the padding gives my baby a relaxed place to lie on. I also like that the pad folds into a small size that fits neatly inside the storage bag, which can hold a few essentials too. So far it has held up well after several washes, and it still looks fresh and smooth.

This UTEX portable changing pad has already earned MVP status in my diaper bag—it’s lightweight, folds up neatly without requiring an engineering degree, and somehow manages to look stylish while being destined for… well, diaper duty. I love this portable changing pad! It’s ultra plush, literally like a mini comforter. The quilted touch is super soft and adds an extra layer of comfort and security for my baby when we are out and about. Changing her diaper in unfamiliar places is already tough, so why not travel with something that can be washed and brings the scent of home along with us? Certainly much better than the plastic cold changing pads we have used in the past. I would trade being able to wipe this down for just having to throw it in the washing machine.I would recommend using a garment bag while washing, and drying on an extremely low temperature if you cannot lay it flat (or hang) to dry. Love the little elastic straps in the interior for holding lightweight items like diapers and travel wipes. What a great product, and such a successful execution of this idea.

Machine washable changing pad makes clesn-up a breeze
I love this UTEX baby changing pad. We have another changing pad that worked well when she was a newborn but she quickly outgrew that in length. This changing pad is larger and fits her at almost 6 months old. It’s a very soft fabric, and machine washable. Our old pad was wipeable, which is very convenient if baby makes a mess, but it’s not as comfortable for baby.This is easy to travel with, about the size of a binder. It’s machine washable if it does get dirty.

A changing mat with minimalist style and cotton function
I really like the feel of this mat. We have one for our grandson that is vinyl on the baby side and something like tent nylon on the outside. This feels like and comfortable for baby!I cannot figure out how this is waterproof.. There must be a layer in between the soft white terry cloth-like side and the striped outside. If this is 100% cotton it certainly will not be waterproof or spillproof. I plan to hand wash this for water resistance and time to air dry.. just in case drying in the dryer may deteriorate the layers.
