The first impression I had was it looks great but small then again it’s 2L. It was one of the reason I wanted. My first water backpack was huge. I didn’t have any knowledge about hydration pack when I first started MTB 3yrs ago. The quality of the strap cross lock around your body is a smart way of preventing the pack from moving around and hence “no dancing monkey”. The snap in lock for the strap are very solid not flimsy. The mesh on the back of the pack provide go circulation. The magnetic hose clip is great. It stay in place and snap the hose back in place after use. I didn’t mind the color because I needed something compact in addition to my water bottles when I do long distance road ride, and it was a little cheaper than the popular color. It’s very well made and excellent design I would buy the brand if I needed a bigger capacity hydration pack.

Works over chest protector (Leatt 6.5 size large)
I needed a backpack to wear over my Leatt chest protector and this was the perfect fit. For tools and other accessories I use a tool bag made for the bike‘s cup holder. I highly recommend this pack if you are looking for a low profile pack that can hold 2 liters of water without a problem. It also has a convenient pouch for your cellphone, first aid supplies, or whatever you can think of that you can fit in there

Essential for hot temp road riding
Most will associate a hydration backpack with hiking, gravel, and MTB, but during the summer this USWE Race 2.0 Hydration pack becomes essential when the temps are 80-90+. When it’s 80+ degrees it’s insanely easy to become dehydrated and constantly stopping to refill your water bottles is a pain, not to mention fiddling for your bottle and drinking it while riding at 30mph+ is simply dangerous. With this pack you get capacity for 70oz, which is over three times what you could carry with a single water bottle. During the heat I either fill up the bladder half way with ice cubes and the rest with my hydration and carb mix and as the ice melts it keeps the bladder cold. On really hot days I will partially freeze the bag overnight creating essentially a big block of ice, being careful to not block the quick release valve. The bladder sits in an insulated sleeve which does help maintain the temperature somewhat. The inside of the backpack vents well because it’s mostly mesh and while there isn’t zero “dancing monkey” effect with this bag, it’s hardly noticeable unless you out of the saddle pounding it. I am 5’5″ and 135lbs and I am able to get a very secure fit, however the included hose is too long and needed to be cut for my fit. Even with 70oz on my back, I really didn’t notice the weight. I can easily grab for the hose and essentially hydrate myself safely even when riding in a group going 30mph+ because my hands are free. Pro Gravel racers like Dylan Johnson use this backpack already and he has found he was more aero with the bag compared to no bag. My only qualm is the white bag does get dingy over time and the bite valve rubber has broken down over time from me holding the valve between my teeth, but replacement parts are easy to come by. Cleaning is fairly easy and a must if you are using carb mix. You can buy the expensive cleaning tabs but I just use Efferdent Anti-Bacterial Dental Appliance Cleanser tabs which are meant for dentures but are $8 for a pack of 126.

Almost perfect
Many upgrades from original design. Very lightweight. Only problem is that shoulder straps are no longer adjustable. I have a 43 inch chest and this just barely fits. Couldn’t wear it over cold weather clothes. But great for hot weather. Put ice cubes in bladder. Mesh back puts the cold bladder right on your skin.

I love it!
Doesn’t move around when I run! I use it on long runs. I like the magnet clip it snaps back into place sometimes on its own wich is nice!Only thing I would want to add is a small picket for a couple gel packs

Did a long 7 mile ride and barely noticed it. It’s lightweight. I just wish it had some reflective elements on the back
