It really supports the back. It does take awhile to get use to it because you are using back muscles in a new position.

Mis-named pillow.
This is advertized as a “lumbar” pillow but is not that at all, as you can see from the picture. It’s widest point is at the the bottom of the pillow, where it should be more “neutral ” in effect, thus forcing the sacral/lumbar joint and lowest lumbar vertabrae (L3,4,5) to project unnaturally forward without support as it causes the mid spine to slope away at an angle (not desired!) It is virtualy impossible to sit with this pillow with a straight back, and have the lumbar supported, as it claims, without placing an additional supportive pillow mid-spine. I have pronounced arthritic disc deterioration at the lumbar/sacral joint, so am familiar with spinal alignment issues. I even tried reversing the pillow, and that resulted in immediate painful results. But, on a brighter note, if you are just looking for a general pillow and this shape works for you, the quality is good, the cover is I believe “snag proof”, and it appears to be constructed well. Just don’t market it as a lumbar pillow, because it is quite the opposite, imo.

IF you are tall, don’t buy this unless you have a deep seating chair.
Comfortable only if sitting in a very deep chair….I bought this for a reclining chair. Unfortunately, once it is on the chair, there is less room on the chair and it positions the body further forward so the feet hang off of the foot rest and circulation in the calf is restricted. Would be okay for very short people.

Good pillow.
This pillow has provided additional support in a way that my back has been less sore than before I started using it. It’s not overly elegant in appearance, but it gets the job done, and it’s neutral color tends to help it disappear from the decor. It provides substantial support without being overly rigid and uncomfortable.

This support came rolled up in cylindrical package. At first I thought there was no way it was going to firm and supportive. Once you open it, its deflated and flimsy. After half an hour, it fills out and its solid. It is wide as many have indicated in reviews – but with a little adjusting, it fits into the lower back and supports good posture.

C’est un produit bien fait, il est important de bien connaître les grandeurs par contre car pour le retour c’est compliqué et nébuleux avec le vendeur. Après 3 semaines j’attends encore des nouvelles c’est pas plaisant.
