I need to wear a hat anytime I go out in the sun because I’m older, my hair is thinning blonde, and I am at risk for skin cancer during my leukemia treatment.I like the color of this hat, it is a nice neutral that you can wear with anything. It fits great; the little string with the beads in the back is how you adjust the fit by pulling it snug. I think the style in this color has a natural type look to it and it has a less athletic look to it, than a baseball cap. I like the style for going on a walk or sightseeing or something like that where you want to look a little nicer. I like that there is a lightweight string that can go under your chin on a windy day. I use that often with brim hats because they’re so easy to catch the breeze and blow off. When I’m not using it, I just tuck it up under the top of the hat. It’s lightweight. I don’t feel the string on my head. I like the style, however, my husband thinks it looks frumpy with the brim that turns up. I guess in this case, style is on the head of the beholder. I’m keeping it anyway.It is not as lightweight as some of my sun hats, but I wouldn’t call it heavy. The quality looks fine. The packing wrinkles came out with a hair dryer. I believe you could smash it flat in a suitcase, but I haven’t tried it so I don’t know what it’ll look like when you get it out. Overall, I like the hat and I’ve worn it a couple of times on my neighborhood walks.

Favorite Sun Hat Ever
The Large fit very well. The hat is darling and crushable. It is also functional. I wear it all the time.This hat is light weight and great for sun defense.

The PERFECT hat!
I bought the 1st of these hats, the beige hat, at my medical clinic as I have cancer-prone skin. I now own this same hat in 3 colors (ordered on Amazon!)!!! I wear them all the time. I’ve worn my 1st hat over a year on many trips, and it’s still in great shape.It’s soft and comfortable, the most comfortable sun hat I’ve ever had.It’s adjustable for your head size!It can be mashed into a carry bag or suitcase and pops right back into shape.It’s very light weight.It has a chin strap, so stays on when it’s windy.It’s very sturdy!

This hat is very attractive and comfortable. It is not too hot but is great at keeping the sun out of my face and off my head. I have been wearing it all the time this summer. My new favorite hat!

Ok, but chin ties attached in wrong position
I have the same hat in beige, and after almost 20 years, it still looks great. I forgot it on a trip, so I ordered a new one in a different color.The new hat arrived with the chin ties attached way towards the front so I had to modify it (detached the re-attch them). Other than that, the hat seems of comparable quality to my older one – I expect to get many years of use from it. Stuffs into luggage or backpack and comes out with no creases. These are really great hats – worth every penny.

Easy to pack as it recovers fine after having been flattened. I like the colour and it’s a good size for shielding me from the sun. I’ve worn it a lot at home and on several trips. The string helps keep it on my head when it’s windy and it easily tucks out of the way when I don’t need it. The only down side I’ve noticed is that its fabric is not the most breathable, perhaps a trade-off with its packability, but its lack of breathability hasn’t been a problem. Nevertheless, I really like it and highly recommend it overall.

I love this hat! This is my second purchase; I got paint on my first hat.This hat is light weight.and durable. I like that I can roll it up and put it in my purse, backpack, suitcase etc. and it opens up perfectly. I like that it is washable. I washed my first hat no problem (the next time – the paint of course did not come out). I like that it has a string attached that keeps this hat on my head even in quite a breeze. I don’t have to worry that I might have to chase or lose my hat!When I received my second hat, it had been packed in such a way that it had a “bend” in it. Not to worry – I soaked the hat with water, and put a towel in the cap part and shaped the brim to let it dry.
