Heats up fast, short power cord
Works great! The only issue is that the power cord is extremely short so it kimits options on where it can be placed unless you have a extended cord. But it is simple to use, heats up in under five minutes and pours beautifully. The lid is quite secure and the whole pot is compact. Great for traveling. I use it in my office.

Fast and efficient hot water teapot.
Love, love love this electric teapot. It is cute yet functional. It is really only 2 small cups of tea/coffee or one large one but it is easy to use, fast and efficient and turns off automatically when done. Easy to clean, small enough to store easily in a small space. Perfect for use when camping with power. I am a heavy tea drinker and this teapot has been a joy to use over and over for quick and easy hot water.

Tested for months, good kettle!
This kettle has been great. We waited to review this kettle until we have used it for a while. We are tea and hot cocoa drinkers. I showed my 8 and 10 year old how to use it, and they can operate it and safely poor the hot water into a cup. The outside is reasonably insulated so if the kiddos accidentally touch the black part they won’t get burned, but they will know the water inside is very hot. Do not touch any of the metal parts on the kettle because those parts will burn you. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is because the lid is pretty darn tough to get off, which isn’t awful since I don’t want a lid on a hot water kettle to easily fall off. But, our lid really takes some twisting and pulling.

Beware. Plastic residue!
Beware! Though I’m pleased with the price and functionality for my needs., during the past 2 months I’ve owned it, I’ve noticed a small plastic residue in the water. (See photograph) I’ve caught it maybe 10 times so far. I’ve had to get rid of the water and reheat fresh water. I’ve looked carefully to see where they’re coming from and i suspect somewhere inside behind the perforations on the inner metal casing. Perhaps the scalding water is softening the plastic behind the perforations and they’re getting into the water reservoir. I’m not trying to be difficult or vindictive. I’m just giving those interested a warning of the tiny plastic pieces. Manufacturer, do you have any suggestions or can I get it replaced?Thank you.

Great Little Kettle – Van Life
I am glad bought this one. Heats water fast (about 5 minutes for full kettle to a rolling boil – plugged into a wall socket – US, 120 v ). Handle is large for big hands to get a good grip and keep hands protected. The cylinder of the kettle gets warm when water is boiling. The lid stays on while pouring but note that it is not a screw on lid, just one with a tight gasket to hold the lid on. It stayed on when I poured the water into a cup and when I put the pot upside down (with only a little water in the kettle) but I’d still be careful about the lid – it is a snug fit and should be fine for every day, normal use. I put this on my Bluetti AC50B power station and it drew 658-660 watts and took about 5 minutes to boil the water (full kettle) and used up 18% of the 700 something watt hours. The retractable cord is nice. I am really pleased with it and would recommend it.

Es muy útil para llevar contigo para viajes. Hay cafeteras en hoteles pero no quiero usarlas para calentar el agua para mis tés.Guardo las bolsitas de té adentro y lo pongo en mi maleta. Súper útil!!
