Lots of supplies in a hard protective case
This kit has 305 items in it. It does have a hard shell which protects the contents from being crushed. However, the description also claims to have a fluorescent interior coating. What I got is a gray interior that did not seem to be fluorescent to me.Unfortunately, there is no inventory list that I could find. There is a small booklet that explains how to do some common first aid tasks.First, I’ll cover some of the stranger items in here. There is a carabiner. I’m guessing that is used to hook the kit to something else. If you don’t need that, I would just remove that items. There is a 6 hour glow stick and a whistle. Neither of those are really first aid item.Most of my larger first aid kits have an instant ice pack in them. This one doesn’t. Instead it has two cooling gel patches. These say they are good for 8 hours and is the best way to cool a fever.I also found a lot of band-aids, many wipes, 1 pair of disposable gloves, way too many q tips, a small amount of bandages, some tape, tweezers and a pair of scissors.This kit has no basic medicines such as painkillers. You probably want to add some medicines like that on your own to this kit.It’s light and very portable. It could both be used in a car or while hiking.Overall, though it is a very useful and inexpensive kit, I wish they had stocked it a little differently. I would get rid of the glow stick and most of the q tips. Instead, I’d wish it had more bandages and an ice pack.
