Great, study, and keeps it shape!
I have been researching pet backpacks for some time now. The two biggest things I was looking for is a backpack with mesh vents and a backpack that kept its shape. A lot of backpacks I’ve seen elsewhere will sag at the bottom once a pet is in it which doesn’t seem too comfortable for the pet. This keeps its shape really well and bottom of the bag seems very sturdy to prevent that sagginess from happening. It’s comfortable to wear and relatively spacious on the inside. I think a larger in length cat could still be relatively comfortable in the backpack if they were curled up. I do like that it has a top opening as well as a front opening. We will usually keep the backpack out in our living room with that front opening open and she actually will go in there willingly to nap throughout the day. The bedding on the inside is very soft and it’s a thick enough pad that it seems like it would be comfortable for any pet. The ventilation is nice and seems to help keep my cat cool and she also likes that she can see outside from most angles. Overall, really solid backpack. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a x-small – small sized dog and probably most if not all cat breeds. Maine coons might have some issues fitting but I know cats tend to be pretty okay at curling up into smaller spaces relatively comfortably. It’s comfortable to wear and has supportive back padding. I’ve walked around in it for about 2 hours and didn’t feel like it was causing any strain or discomfortI do want to note that I got this for my kitten, and she is currently about 4 lbs; so, I wouldn’t be able to endorse its sturdiness for larger pets.

WORTH IT!
This is the best you’re going to get for your money. If you go through the reviews on others, many fall short in quality or have been very obviously used (and abused) before.This “Cat-Pack” is sturdy, fits well, holds it’s own against my cat AND my ferret (both very eager to escape after a while), and is very easily cleaned in case of accidents. Straps are very easily adjustable and feel fine on every size of human. My 9 year old, my skinny boyfriend, and my-fat-potato-lookin-self can all wear it comfortably.For light cleaning, just vacuum the animal hair out once a week. Spot cleaning for nasty soiling is simple. Also, the cushioned panel they sit on (while being worn, though you can lay it strap side down in the car to give your fur baby more room to relax) is easily pulled out so you can just clean THAT section and vac the rest. For heavy, deep cleaning… Easily hand washable. Could be washed on a very gentle cycle in a large washer. Best to air dry it though.Also great for sneaky store trips. Had to take my ferret to the vet so he went along in this. It was a hot day and I needed to go to two stores before heading home. You can’t leave a ferret, or any animal, in a car on a hot day. Tossed this on, ran into the store, wasn’t bothered by anyone. The cashier noticed because my ferret started scratching the floor of it a bit as I was paying and even she said, “I had no idea there was an animal in there.”Overall, incredible product!

My pup loves to ride in this backpack
My dog loves this backpack. I have tried so many dog carriers and returned them and this is the one that has worked the best for me. It is not uncomfortable to wear, and my dog likes to use it in backpack mode or lay down mode. It is very sturdy and I appreciate the pockets so I can keep his leash and some other things on the sides. We flew with it on United and Southwest Airlines this past week. He loves to sit in the backpack as I carry his heavy a** through the airport. The only thing I wish is that it was a little bit taller like 18 inches instead of 16 inches but it was really hard to find a backpack that tall. He’s a little squished when the mean flight attendants make you zip him up in there haha. My dog is about 18 lbs.

Great Upgrade – Comfortable, High Quality, and Cat-Approved
I have a 9 lb, 3-year-old blind cat (no eyes—just fluff!), and this backpack has been an incredible upgrade for both of us. I previously used a K9 Sack Pack, which is more like a soft front-facing baby carrier for pets, where they sit upright against your chest or back with their front limbs out. It was great for short trips/walks, but I wanted something with better spinal support and more comfort for longer outings for both of us! —and this backpack totally delivers.Comfort & Support (for me):This backpack is super comfortable to wear. It’s well-padded, with both a chest strap and waist strap that help distribute the weight and take pressure off my back. That alone has made a huge difference during walks and hikes.Comfort & Security (for her):Inside, there’s soft padding for her to sit on, and the bag holds its shape really well—no sagging or collapsing in. I was initially worried that the opening might be too small (especially compared to the TravelCat backpack I almost bought), but it actually works out great. Since my cat is blind, the smaller opening helps her feel safe while she peeks out, without feeling too exposed.Design & Features:The backpack is roomier than I expected, but still compact and not bulky. It has two convenient side pockets (for treats, leash, brush, ect.) the color is exactly as pictured, and the whole thing feels structured, sturdy, and really well made. I love that it doesn’t slouch or cave in.One Downside and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 – Safety Strap Length:The only downside for me is the internal safety strap. It’s not adjustable, and it’s a little too long—my cat can actually step out of the backpack while still clipped in, which defeats the purpose of that added safety feature. That could definitely be dangerous if she tried to jump out while the backpack’s on my back. I’m working on shortening the strap myself, but I wish it had some built-in adjustability.Comparison to TravelCat:I have a couple of friends who own TravelCat backpacks, so I’ve had a chance to check them out in person. They’re definitely nice, and I seriously considered getting one—but the price was pushing my budget. I’m so glad I went with this more affordable option. It’s still high quality, super functional, and honestly may have a few design choices I like better. Plus, this backpack seems more likely to fit within airline carry-on size limits, which is a huge bonus for future travel.

Ich habe den rucksack gekauft um mein kaninchen leichter zum tierarzt transportieren zu können, denn Bruno wiegt immerhin 2,5 kilo. Das wird mit dem rattankorb den ich bis jetzt benutzt habe auf die strecke ganz schön mühsam!Und ich war vom ersten moment an begeistert, denn auf dem rücken geht das um so vieles besser! Er sitzt ganz behaglich auf der (herausnehm-und waschbaren) plüscheinlage, kann nicht so viel herumhopsen und sieht auch ein bisschen von der umwelt. Und er lässt sich viel besser befördern, hält durch bauch-und brustgurt bombenfest ohne zu verrutschen.ich kann den rucksack guten gewissens weiterempfehlen! Auch die grösse ist ideal, er kann soger männchen machen wenn er mag. Toll ist auch dass man das teil platzsparend völlig flach zusammenlegen kann.Was ich mir noch wünschen würde:1. Doppelzipp für den boden so dass man ihn mit einem vorhangschloss sicher kann und sich dieser nicht versehentlich aufzippen kann wenn man daran hängen bleibt.2. Ein oder zwei aussentaschen für kleinigkeiten wie fahrschein.3. Eine grosse vordere öffnung für tiere die nicht selber heraussteigen wie eben kaninchen.Trotzdem würde ich den rucksack sofort weiterempfehlen (bin auch schon mehrere male unterwegs darauf angesprochen worden).

6.9kgのミニシュナの為に購入しました。底も硬くしっかりした作りなので、リュックの中に入れても安定した感じでした。お座りした状態で入ってるので頭は出ません。リュックの中では少し狭そうですが、動ける空間がありすぎるよりはこのくらいが安心するのかなと思います。電車で約2時間利用したいのですが、電車内では横向きに置けば伏せ状態で寝れると思います。様子を見れる開閉窓もありますし中の息苦しさはないかと思います。以前は横長のリュック型キャリーで移動させてましたが、犬が動く度に左右に揺れる感じと窓部分が少ないのが気になり、新しくこちらを購入。以前のは約1万円で購入しましたが、こちらはその半額で良い買い物でした。比べても機能性は変わらない気がします。一つ気になったのは表部分中心に開閉窓があり、開けるとクルクルと巻いてマジックテープで止めるようになっていますが、そのマジックテープのトゲトゲの痛い方がリュック内側に付いています。犬の鼻が傷つくのが嫌なので取ってしまいました。

Our kitten (4.5kg at 8 months) quickly outgrew his previous carrier, so we knew we needed something that would not only accommodate him now, but as he invariably gets even bigger. This carrier is excellent – it is strong and sturdy and doesn’t buckle if the kitten sits on it rather than in it when we go for a hike. It has lots of strong meshing so he can see out and various openings which are great if you are using the carrier on its side on the floor, rather than upright. The tiniest niggle is that it has no pockets for a leash or treats, but that is a minor issue.
