Dry, lightweight sack
It is what it is, a good, very lightweight, and compact dry bag. I’ve used it to hang food when backpacking in areas that allow hanging food. It packs down super small, which is why I was so interested to begin with. Seems pretty sturdy, I’ve thrown it around camp on various terrain and held probably about 5-10 lbs of stuff when hanging from the tree without issues. I haven’t filled it with knives and sticks, but it hasn’t been pierced yet.I have not heavily tested the waterproofing, but it has rubbed up against water containers with a lot of condensation and sat out overnight with heavy dew on it and there were no issues with dampness inside.I don’t think it will, but if this bag fails, I’d probably buy it again for the price.

Superlight, but not super cheap
In the category of “you get what you pay for,” I am hoping that these stand the test of time. They are very light, and seem a bit thicker/more durable than some others that I have purchased. But make no mistake, they are still very light! The one issue I have – and I would have deducted 1/2 a star but I can’t do that – is that the rigid strip that is part of the roll top closure is folded when you get it. I think this is for packaging purposes, but it seems to be unfixable – in other words, you can’t “fold it back” to be totally straight. I don’t think this affects the quality, usability, or waterproofness of the sacks, but it is a little odd. There must be another way to roll the bags for packing/shipping/selling that doesn’t involve bending the strip in 1/2? Again, not a functional issue, but kind of a cosmetic issue, but kind of a logistics issue…I would still consider buying again, but they certainly are not cheap!

Keeps my items dry on the boat!
I bought this to keep my personal items dry while on a scuba diving boat. This works really well and is a great size for me to fit my things!The only downside is if I don’t bring a bag to put this in, it can become a bit cumbersome to carry on its own. I bought this knowing it didn’t have backpack straps so I can’t knock this product for being exactly what it is advertised to be – thus still 5 stars. I’ve attached a carabiner to help with carrying, and it is great stashed in a tote bag or backpack.

6L is what you need!
The color, size, and mouth of the bag to keep things sealed are perfect! The reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I’m a little nervous about the material and possibly getting a hole–it seems very thin, but I’ll baby it as much as possible since the color is unbeatable! For reference I put a towel inside, 6oz sunscreen and my glasses. These are normally my essentials when I go paddleboarding, snorkeling and rafting.I attached a small carabiner clip in case I need it to hook to something.

Looks well made and reasonably robust to hold soft items. A good shape to pack clothes in and easy to roll and clip closed to seal up. Tabs helpful when packing and unpacking rucksack. No rain on recent 4 day hike so not fully tested.

I bought three Osprey dry sacks in different sizes to help organise my daughters rucksack and keep her gear dry on a Duke of Edinburgh hiking and camping trip. They work brilliantly! I am not an experienced explorer so wasn’t sure what was good and what wasn’t but liked the reviews on these. They are very light but strongly made. It took me a few moments to work them out but I was very impressed with the way they seal up. They seem to be like Hermione Grainger’s handbag in the way they just keep on fitting things inside them! I really liked the way you can squeeze excess air out of them when loaded and they create a vacuum seal without using any additional tools. Saved loads of space in the rucksack. You then roll the top over for extra protection and clip it to form a handle. This struck me as a very clever piece of design making them easy to handle and can even clip on the outside of the pack, which is what we did to keep the essential snacks handy. On the hike and camping trip they worked brilliantly. Everything stayed in place and well sealed up with no moisture penetration or leakage out from used towels and clothes. Food crumbs and rubbish cleaned out of them easily on return too. When empty they pack away to virtually nothing. Definitely a great practical product.
