Why doesn’t Subaru offer one of these at purchase?
Works well. Gives me a place to store some easy-to-access things rather than having to reach down into the giant pit that is the 2025 Forester center console. As it also fits over the console, it can provide some security (out of sight) for things stored in the deeper part of the center console.

2025 Forester Limited – “Coin Tray/Shelf” …. It DOES fit nicely!!!
One of the things that I missed when I got my new 2025 Forester Limited was the “coin tray” that I had in my 2016 Forester Limited. I know it’s a small thing, but I used it frequently. When I inquired about a “coin tray” from the Subaru Dealership, they told me the “coin tray” for the 2025 would be close to $90!!! I asked to see the product, because pictures on the Subaru Accessory internet page were not clear. When the Associate showed it to me, it was a ridiculous one piece insert that not only took space away from the entire center console cavity, it had a ludicrously small area toward the back as a “shelf”. I said no thanks and that whoever designed this ridiculous looking thing should be reconsidered as a designer for Subaru interior accessories.I just happened to be perusing YouTube and came across a gentleman who had purchased some Subaru Forester interior accessories and got them from Amazon. He had purchased a “coin tray” along with other interior accessories. So……. I hopped onto Amazon and started doing a search.There are several choices from which to choose for a “tray” for the center console, and after perusing the Ratings, I landed on this one as it didn’t have any negative comments regarding the “fit”.I received this today; hurried to open the box and went to my car. There is only ONE WAY this will easily fit, so take your time and if it doesn’t want to fit (without force), just turn it around and it will slide into the space effortlessly.I am pleased with the fit, the quality of the product and the price. It meets my needs and completes my car to my liking.Hope this is helpful to someone else who just has to have that dang-nabbed “coin tray” in their new 2025 Subaru Forester Limited.Thanks for reading.

I’ll be honest, I fought this product for a week till I realized it was in the console backwards. Flipped it around & it works perfect. The only issue I have is it would be better if there was a small flange or hole on the center divider to use to lift it out. As it is, you have to use your fingers to get the edges up before you can get hold of it & lift it out (a two hand job).

Fits 2025 Subaru Forester Sport Hybrid
I love my Forester Hybrid but it seemed like everything in my console became lost in the great void (sorta like how things do in my purse). This tray fits perfectly! Now the 2-3 things I reach for often are right on top. Other reviewers are correct, there’s only one way it fits but it’s super simple to put together. Also it comes with small grippy mat things to fit inside the sections to keep things from slipping. Highly recommend!

It’s ok, but needs improvement.
Fits well, but is difficult to lift out of the console. The only way to pull it up is by the center divider, but this feels too low to me. When there’s stuff in the different segments, grabbing the center divider is difficult without moving said items. Also, the sides edges that rest on the edges of the console to keep it from falling are so slim that sometimes the whole organizer slips and sinks down into the console. And because it’s already hard to pull out, it’s even harder when it’s slips down.

It fits perfectly, rubber mats are removable. Very good accessory for the forester. The only thing which I didn’t like it’s leaves scratches on the walls of the console. Other than that good purchase.
