The underside of the pole has an improved screw ground anchor that can be easily inserted into the sand for better grip.
Stable & Wind-resistant Beach Canopy: Highly stable triangular umbrella structure with top ventilation window and side breathable mesh vents reduces the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the tent and enhances wind resistance. Perfect Beach Shelter for the whole family!
We just got back from a week on the coast, and this was the best. It was super easy to set up, my wife and I had it up in under 10 minutes on the first try. The adjustable height made it easy to tweak depending on the sun’s angle throughout the day, and the included side wall gave us extra shade and a bit of wind protection in the afternoon.It’s surprisingly spacious. We comfortably fit two adults, two grandkids, a cooler, and a couple of beach chairs underneath with room to spare. I also appreciated the UPF 50+ protection…none of us got burned, even during peak sun hours.Bonus: It held up great on a breezy day thanks to the stakes and sandbags. Everything feels well-made and durable. After seeing how much use we got out of it in just one trip, I’d say it’s worth every penny.

Not wind resistant!
I bought this for use on the beach at Ocean City, Md. The canopy only lasted about 3 days on the beach. We had a windy day and the wind broke one of the arms that holds the canopy out. The pole broke where a pin went through the arm. The arms are made of metal, but it’s thin and cheap.I read a couple of the other reviews about the center pole being too short – those reviews are 100% accurate. The inside height might be 60 inches at best. You have to hunch over the entire time in the canopy. I don’t see a warranty called out so now I have $150 piece of junk.I’d avoid this canopy if I were you.

I bought this MoKo cabana for a family trip to the beach. Setup was very easy, even one person could set it up without any hassle.The pop-up design and adjustable height (I set it to 8 feet) are super practical.We loved the ample shade it provides; five people could comfortably fit in with chairs and bags.The material really blocks the sun; I didn’t feel the direct heat like I do in other tents.The removable sidewall was a huge plus, protecting us from the wind from one side without overheating.Plus, it has mesh on the sidewall, which helps air circulate without trapping heat.The poles are sturdy and durable; they don’t bend.It held up very well to the wind, much better than other tents we saw flying near us.The sandbags at the bottom really provide stability, especially in loose sand.It includes two types of pegs for different types of terrain, another very useful detail.The triangular structure and upper windows help prevent it from lifting in the wind.Once stored, it’s compact and lightweight for transport, not taking up much space in the trunk of a car.The included bag is sturdy and well-designed; it doesn’t tear or become uncomfortable.This tent is perfect not only for the beach but also for the garden.The materials are of good quality, from the fabric to the stitching.An excellent investment for any outdoor outing. Five stars without hesitation!

Hold up well in wind
I was kind of hesitant to get this since it was a cheaper version of the Cool Cabanas tent. I opted to get this rather than the cool cabanas since it has the side wall. We took it to the beach many times with our new baby and my husband keeps raving about what a great purchase it was. We live by the beach and use this all the time versus all the other types of umbrellas and canopies we have. It’s so easy to carry and set up and provides lots of shade. Having the side wall with the mesh provides more shade while allowing wind to get through on hot days. One thing though the 50 UV resistance doesn’t seem to be as strong as advertised since sun still goes through a lot and my baby got a tan from it. However it holds up well in the wind (we suffered through a torrential downpour at the beach with 25 mph wind and it held up) I was so impressed! You have to make sure there is a lot of sand in the bags and have plenty of tension. We are very happy with this purchase and it saving us so much more money than cool cabanas.

Must have sun shade
This was a life saver this summer. I burn easily, even with good sunscreen. A nice retreat from the sun, and a lot of were comfortably under shade. Easy set up, for the comfort provided it was worth the effort, but honestly didn’t take long at all. Break down was pretty quick also. Easy carry bag makes to and from the car light and easy. I will not go without it in future.

Compact must have for beach trips
This is now one our new favorite beach essential! Setup was shockingly easy, one person can totally handle it, and the adjustable height makes it super versatile depending on the sun’s angle or how much breeze you want flowing through.The coverage is amazing and the removable side wall is a great touch and made a noticeable difference on windy days, while the mesh kept everything cool and airy.This thing is sturdy! You can tell the poles are built tougher than most pop-up tents, and the sand anchors + extra stakes made it feel really secure, even with some gusts coming off the shore.I also love how it packs down surprisingly compact and fits neatly in the trunk. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy at all.If you spend any time at the beach, park, or even your backyard, this cabana is absolutely worth it.

Terrible! Do NOT buy! The fabric on each corner is way too long which causes you to have to anchor it way far out, and it becomes a parachute with a little breeze on the beach.
