Quality item, consider the next model up if using a heavier lens or need more support in general.
I already owned the next step up from this one that is larger and supports more weight. This one definitely has a lot more wobble to it with the last two skinny sections extended to the full five feet, but as a walking stick, unless you’re a giant you wouldn’t be using those last two sections for walking. As a camera monopod I prefer the more stout, expensive model, especially since I’m using it with a very large telephoto lens, but this smaller model is perfect for my much shorter wife, to be used when hiking and/or with a smaller lens camera combo since she’s considering getting into photography. The metal spiked tip option shown in the product photos was missing from this smaller model, but definitely came with the larger one I already own. Star off for that item not being included. Otherwise great item, super lightweight and extensions lock well.

This monopod is fabulous! It feels like very high-quality. It looks like it’s high-quality. Usually unless you buy a tripod or a monopod that cost over $100, you get a cheap thin nylon type of bag that starts to fray as soon as you use it a couple of times. The bag that was provided with this monopod was made of a heavy neoprene type of material. You unscrew to extend the height and it feels like it unscrews very smoothly. I love everything about it. It comes with an optional screw on handle so you can utilize this as a walking stick and you can also remove the rubber foot that has a spike underneath it for outdoor rough terrain. They also provided a phone mount. I paired it with a ball head by the same manufacturer, and I am just as pleased with the ball head as I am the monopod. If this company continues to make quality stuff at these great prices, they will be well known before long. I recommend this monopod because it’s one of the better ones that I have ever owned.
