Sciatic nerve pain? This is a good but hard cushion
One should definitely know this is one heck of a hard cushion. It is nothing soft. It’s leather and cones with care instructions. It works fine, but just know it’s very hard. I would not but again only because it’s a bit to hard for my liking. I still use it off/on. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s so hard.

Good investment!
My wife has knee problems related to arthritis and is 5 feet tall.. This means she has trouble getting up out of a chair. At a restaurant, her chin is nearly on the table. With this cushion, it lifts her to a better height and she’s able to get out of a chair better. Being portable, she uses it in the car as well. We are both very satisfied with comfort, lift, and portability.

Doesn’t last with regular use
I bought this because of the height, support, and supposed claim of memory foam, but like everything else these days, the memory foam claim is bogus. In 1996 I bought an office chair with a memory foam seat, and 30 years later it’s still going strong with no signs of breaking down. I bought this cushion for my new home office workstation at a counter height desk, which my trusty 30 year old chair won’t fit. At first it worked perfectly, but after about 4 months, it had gone from 4 inches, down to about 2 inches in front. The back is still the original height because most of my weight is biased forward. So basically the foam is terrible. I weigh around 105 pounds, so it’s not as though it’s been over-burdened these last 4 months. That being said, it’s still better than any other cushion I’ve tried and returned. I may have to breakdown and spend $1000 on a good drafting chair that won’t need to be replaced every year.

Very worth the money
Very thick and comfortable. I have great back pain and use this at my desk as for pain relief and as a booster seat since I am short waisted. Quite nice and well made.

Top is not slippery!!
I was concerned that the shiny-looking material would make me slide around on it like a pat of butter on a warm skillet, but I’m so happy it isn’t at all slippery! I bought this to replace the two thinner coccyx cushions I had stacked in my office chair (cuz the dang chair just isn’t high enough). It is perfect. I’m a fluffy gal (200-ish lbs.) and this cushion is firm enough to keep almost its full height and still be very comfortable. My office chair has a cloth bottom and the cushion’s grippy underside keeps it firmly in place.Pros:Bottom side grips to keep it in placeTop side is not at all slippery (keeps ME in place, lol)Doesn’t deflate (even under 200 lbs. of weight)Doesn’t put pressure on my tailboneCarrying handleCons:A bit pricy (but worth it IMO)
