These are notably better built than typical luggage locks, with a sturdy metal body that inspires confidence.Important to note: while TSA-approved, they maintain good security features – the lock body is resistant to tampering and the keys are well-machined. The cut-resistant shackle is a crucial feature for meeting transportation requirements. Each lock comes with multiple keys, which is handy for backup.The size works well with standard case lock holes without being bulky. They operate smoothly in various weather conditions – no freezing or sticking issues in cold temperatures. The coating on the lock body has held up well against scratches and general wear.One practical tip: test the fit with your specific case before travel, as some cases have slightly different lock hole sizes. Also, while durable, it’s worth keeping the spare keys in separate locations when traveling. Secure lock that fits on every firearm case
This lock is great and exactly what I needed when traveling with my firearms. It has fit on every one of my firearms cases and seems to be super durable. Love the simple design of it and it’s very secure. Would recommend.

Purchased to try them out as of yet haven’t used during travel. As first look The rubber sleeve is the color chosen. Setting the combination is super easy, the overall quality seems good the locking tip or the little ball on the stem seems a little flimsy only travel and mistreating it will define it’s real security, it fits the Pelican Case 1650 I state this because I had the same doubts and no one was able to answer so if you have a similar case or similar dimensions it more than like will fit.

Perfect lock for what I needed
These locks are perfect for what it needed, especially to travel with my gun cases. Due to their design, you may need to make sure it fits your specific gun case. My rifle cases all seem to be fine with this style of lock, but my pistol case has holes positioned to where the locks barely fit.

The only pelican case lock worth it
Best locks for some one who is always traveling with gear. They are a little more expensive but I’ve never had to stress about my lock breaking or anything with these. I would like to say for version 2 or an update can we have a different way of retaining the lock pin? The silicon on my lock slips off every now and then so I 3d printed a similar retainer out of 95A TPU and it hasn’t popped off yet.
