Great idea for personal safety
I was pleasantly surprised by the small size of this device. It’s made of good quality, rigid plastic. The light is blindingly bright. I accidentally looked at it while it was on and saw spots for a little while afterwards. The included instructions warn against looking into the light for that reason. The operation of the unit is simple enough. But I had a difficult time pulling the pin to get the alarm to sound. This surprised me because I don’t have weak hands or arms. I think i would be able to pull it easily in am emergency situation with my adrenaline pumping. The alarm is super loud and guaranteed to draw attention. It’s easy to silence in case of an accidental alarm. It comes with a little charging cord. I like the rechargeable battery as it’s more sustainable than disposable ones. This personal security device could be a little cheaper in price when compared to similar items but overall it’s a good value. I think this is a must have for personal safety for vulnerable persons.

Must-have Personal Safety Alarm
I got the HOU Personal Safety Alarm for Women and I really like how small and light it is. It comes with the alarm, a charging cable, and a little instruction booklet. It is very simple to use, I just pull the hook out of the base to turn the alarm on, and it is really loud. There is a light on it with four modes, strobe, steady, red, and SOS, and I can switch between them by pressing the button on the top. There is also a button on the side to turn the alarm off, and a small light that shows the battery level. This is the kind of thing I feel like I should always have with me when I leave the house.

The plastics seem lightweight and the first time I pulled the trigger I thought I had broken it. 2 pack alarm
In the summer i walk after dark. I like it has a little light on it. It fits in your belt loop, purse, bag easily. The quality is good. After It is loud. I would buy again

So, that time of year when darkness falls soon, and still dark in morning, both times are when we take our dog walks. And I like where I walk to be very well lit. My sweet dog is short, and though he walks beside me, I’m the one facing the road, in my black coat, etc., so it’s important that we’re both seen.I do have a small safety combo light and alarm, but the light is tiny. I also wear an LED fluorescent arm band and now a lit leash. I make sure to have everything on me: light, alarm, and even a headlamp around my hood because I walk on an unlit path. I want to see where my dog is, pick up after him, and spot other dogs ahead, especially aggressive ones. The alarm is loud . You’ll be seen with the light and heard with the alarm.I love how big the surface area of the light is so I can forgo other small flares and now just this. The light is definitely illuminating. Years ago, I used to walk home from transit and often felt unsafe (even when it was still light out). This alarm would have made a difference in my confidence. Today, every woman should carry one. I love the different light options. Oh and it’s easy to attach to your bag.I’ve tried personal safety alarms, but this is my favourite.By-the-way, shout-out to the Vine reviewers for their excellent photos and videos. It’s loud – especially indoors, so take it outdoors to test it. The alarm is suitable for use by anyone (male and female, adults and kids) who may feel unsafe in some situations, e.g., when out walking in quiet locations or in a car park at night, working shifts, or staying at a hotel. It can also be used as an aid in the home, e.g., if you or someone you live with is prone to falls and needs to summon help from another part of the house or garden. The alarm is activated by pulling out the pin (attached to the plastic loop/hasp) and deactivated by pushing it back into place – quite a bit of force is required to pull the pin. The plastic loop is big enough to fit around a bag strap or belt, or it can be attached to a keyring or wrist lanyard, and kept in your pocket, ready for whenever you go out. The alarm is equipped with a light that has 4 modes: torch, white strobe, red/white strobe, and red strobe. It’s rechargeable – the charging cable is included.
