DIY 4 or 2 poles sunshade
Depending on the number of people and needs, you can build the shape you want. The 4-pole shaped marquee can accommodate 6-8 people without being crowded. The 2-pole shape can block a larger area of the sun, allowing 2-3 people to enjoy outdoor time.
Further enhancement of stability
Compared with only four sandbags, a canopy with 8 sandbags is more stable outdoors. One end of the thickened and unbendable aluminum pole is V-shaped and can be inserted more firmly into the ground. This unique set is designed to withstand strong winds.
Thickened and sturdy aluminum pole
The aluminum poles have a small foam ball on the end that can be tied tightly to the tent. The steel wire feature in the middle of the aluminum pole makes it easy to fold and store.
Open and lay the tent flatly on the floor of sand. Use the sand shovel to fully fil the eight bags at bottom.Pull the sand bags apart as large as you can to make large shape of “X”. Stretch out all the poles.Use the elastic cord to fasten the round end of the pole on the tent stitching top.Inserted the sharp end of the pole into the sand.Pull bags apart as far as you can to make large “X” again.

Works very well in sun and some wind
Very easy to carry and set up. Keeps heat of sun off of us BUT use your sunscreen because it may not shield you enough from UV. We learned to spread it out first then fill up all bags very full BEFORE putting pole underneath and at the very edge of fabric – stops edges from hanging down so far and catching the wind so much. Use the two bags on each corner and the pole to look like a tripod for very stable, even in wind. We see people make the mistake of not enough sand in sandbags and struggling with pole, a sand bag and wind at same time – NOT smart! #1 spread out on ground #fill bags very full of sand, #3 stretch out as much as possible, #4. Put poles under each corner ………easy….even with wind….WE WOULD BUY THIS AGAIN!

It Was Better Than Expected!
We had high winds the first time I used it, which made it a bit difficult to set up at first. I was nervous because I thought it wouldn’t hold, the wind was pretty rough, but this thing held up against it the entire time. Even my husband was amazed by it because while ours stood strong, we watched others around us had theirs collapse or blow away. I one man chase his into the water lol. I was even impressed that ours held up so well while the famous and ridiculously expensive Shibumi Shade that some have, didn’t work out as well. I watched as those would smack, get tangled around them, and one actually snapped and blew away. So, I highly recommend this one. We only used it for one weekend so far but I have a feeling it will last for a long time.

Buy something else
Love this idea, but they didn’t last a (half) day. Fabric is great, but poles are pure garbage. Watched two other canopies just like this hold up great in the mild beach wind, but ours bent and flopped all over the place within two hours of setup. I would give this five stars if the polls had any rigidity and resilience to them. I regret this purchase… even more I now regret that we have to spend an entire week at the beach with no coverage.

Falls if there is wind
Great when there is absolutely no wind. Easy to set up but if there is a slight breeze it falls down instantly.

Easy and sturdy
This was a nice packable beach tent. We ended up putting it in our checked bag when flying to a beach vacation and will get a lot of use out of it this summer at our local lakes it set up nicely. We love the sand weights and the little shovels that came with it.

I love that this is stretchy and has two sand anchors for each pole. This should make it more resistant to winds at the beach.
