Stinky?
Ok this is honestly the best umbrella I’ve ever used but it STINKS?! It really smells bad inside like tuna and trash. I’m sure it will dissipate over time but right now it’s kinda gross.But it’s made well and is huge! I love the sun protection and cooling.

The umbrella was nice looking and it works keeping the heat out but the material is very cheap after using it 4 times it already had a ripped on the top and side of the umbrella

Potential Safety Hazard
My G4Free 68 inch sun umbrella broke apart suddenly. I was surprised because there was no wind or other reason when it happened. It’s simply a part failure / defect. The ring that holds it all together gave out and snapped apart. This is potentially dangerous as it can poke your eyes if/when it happens.

Amazing umbrella, well worth the purchase
I purchased this umbrella as part of a bundle (62 and 68 inches), so I got a great deal with this purchase. This umbrella is amazing and well worth the purchase. It is sturdy and a little weighty, but it is a golf umbrella, so that is not surprising, but I’d imagine I’d have to use both hands to steady it in windy weather. But the functionality cannot be beat! It easy to open, easy to close, and really repels heat! I live in Florida and I tried in in 90+ degrees of humid weather, and I swear that it left 10 degrees cooler when I was under it. This umbrella is wide enough to cover 2 adults (or 2 adults and 1 kid/pet).I have already recommended it to my neighbors, as well as a couple of strangers who saw me using it while out and about. I have also purchased a travel size version to compare that to this purchase.

Blocking Light Very Very Well
Blocking the sun amazingly! Two thumbs up for the fabric+paint combo, definitely does the job. Well built, too. Very nice.Not sure if the “wind gaps” would work though — can’t imagine any wind can pass through with the design and tight attached fabric. Should have a little loser gaps between the two sections to let the wind pass through.

You’ll be dryer walking with the umbrella closed.
It’s fine for sun blocking. But it seems no one who’s made a review has used it in the rain. May as well fold it back up and not use it than have waterfalls of water fall from every seam of the umbrella. Literally waterfalls of water. You will not be dry at all.

Good umbrella for playing golf
Very nice umbrella. I use it on my push cart when I play golf to help keep the direct sun off of me. It keeps me cool underneath it along with a portable fan. It’s also a dual canopy umbrella however the wind seems to still affect it more than other dual canopy umbrellas I’ve had in the past. Also there is a definitive smell when you first open it. It does eventually go away after about 4-5 uses but know that it will exist at first. Not really a big deal for me now that it’s gone tho.

68″ Silver umbrella with pink lining.I am yet to use the umbrella in windy or rainy conditions, so I’m referring to my impressions of the build and design. I’ll revise this review when it has seen more use.It is a very large umbrella, able to cover a person with luggage or a parent with children. It serves to protect against the Sun as well as rain since it has UV protection and deflects heat.Yet, it is very easy to carry and use. It comes with a large, soft, open-ended sheath which has a long strap allowing the umbrella to be worn while riding or walking. The stem is long enough that it can rest against the shoulder at arms length whilst walking with it open. It is the most comfortable umbrella I have ever used.Of course, it’s large, so it cannot replace a miniature umbrella, but the design makes it easy to sling along in case of rain if you have you have the space. The umbrella itself has two velcro straps (rather than one) for keeping it fastened down so it can easily be sheathed. The sheath strap also reduces the chance of forgetting the umbrella on mass transit since it can be looped from many positions.I like to take long walks in the Summer Sun, and have had a number of large, silver umbrellas over the years. This the most thoughtful and robust so far.
