Almost Perfect – 4.99 Stars 🌟
I LOVE this hat!!! It is lightweight and a nice light color for wearing on those scorcher summer days. The neck cape is the perfect length, and the material drapes really nicely. I really like the wind strap. One reviewer had mentioned that a better design would be to have the neck drape snap under the cap vs. on the outside, so that water wouldn’t run down the inside of the neck or face drapes if wearing in rain, but I have a different hat for rainy weather, so that’s not a big issue for me but that’s why the 4.99 vs. 5.0 rating. In fact, I might purposely wet the drape in cold water before wearing it out on a really hot and sunny day. The cap is well constructed, and the price point was just right. I’m very, very pleased with this hat. I’d lost my former sun cap of a similar design, but it had not been a perfect fit, coming down just short of my ears so that I was always tugging at it. This Ellewin cap fits absolutely perfectly with excellent coverage. I was able to easily adjust it as well to make it just a bit of a tighter fit. I think those with smaller heads might find it a bit on the large side, but for me it’s absolutely perfect. One of my best purchases this year!

Perfect flaunt protection hat for fiahing!
I recently wore this hat on a 3 day trout fishing outing at Lake Crowley and this hat was a saver. On this lake, there isn’t any shade anywhere, so the sun reflection off the water can get pretty intense. This hat offers entire face protection with a swath of material that drapes across your nose and mouth area (your eyes should be protected with sunglasses and you should always continue to place sunscreen on as a safety precaution). The hat also has a swath of material covering your ears and the back of your head and neck. And both swaths can be removed if the sun is only in your back or face. Very versatile. At one point, I even dunked it in the water and the porous material soaked up some water to create an evaporative cooling effect! Would buy another one again but hopefully I won’t lose this one!😄

Does what it needs to do
It’s a little light but does what it needs to do which is block your face and neck from the sun. The back flap is a perfect length as it doesn’t stop right below the shirt collar, it goes a couple inches past the collar.

Good price, great hat.
So great we came back and bought another. Extremely breathable face mask that conforms to the bridge of your nose. Pretty great fit so even in the wind it stays in place on my head. My go to hat for days out on the water.

Wow, fantastic and comfortable fit! Ultra lightweight. I just had to figure out a little bit how to attach the whole thing to the cap, but when you take you’re time it will work out easily. Very nice and light and no claustrophobic feel or something.I’m a female and I want to use it for a pelgrimage, to protect from the elements.Inspired by YouTube channel “Walk with Efren”! Love this hat and i highly recommend it.

ELLEWIN Sun Cap
I love this hat. It’s very light, functional, convertible, breathable, washable and affordable. I’ve been looking for a new wide brim straw hat to wear while mowing and landscaping. My problem is that most of them look terrible on my head and they seem to be expensive, for some unknown reason. Oh yeah, you can’t wash them. When they become stinky and gross all you can do is replace them. They also don’t breathe very well, so my head gets way too hot. I threw mine away this morning when my new hat arrived.So now I have a ball cap that can be used with a neck drape, a face mask and a lanyard to keep it on my head in the wind. I probably won’t get much use out of the face mask attachment, but if you are an avid fisherman you probably would.The neck drape is super long and also covers my ears. Ears get sunburned too you know.

Shoddy quality
I’ve bought about 10 of these hats. I treat them roughly and they last about as long as I would expect. Sun protection and comfort were great. HOWEVER, the new update is a problem. They actually made the skirt a little bit longer, which I like, it’s perfect now. And it covers the adjustment band hole, which is nice, but a little annoying to have a snap button right on the back of my head. Makes it painful to lean against anything.BUT, all of the snaps are breaking when it’s almost brand new. This never used to happen before, these new snaps are horrible quality. The green hat isn’t even used, and you can see the snaps are mis-formed. I wish I noticed this right away. It only took a few weeks before the snaps started to completely fall apart, and I don’t even unsnap them very often…

Love this hat! It’s so well ventilated and protects from uv rays. Also good for hiking in the woods to keep webs off your face :).

Block sun’s well and is very lightweight to wear, breathing through mask is easy but I prefer wearing without.
