Thin wide long pad no pillow
I got this changing pad for my baby to lay on during diaper changes. Now that he’s nine months old, the changing pad we’ve been using seems a bit small. This imitation leather pad is wider and longer, so a much better fit, except that it’s so very thin. My old changing pad is twice as thick as this one, plus has extra cushioning on the top for my baby’s head. I like how easily this fits into my diaper bag, but I don’t like the idea of my baby laying on a hard surface with an insufficient cushion underneath him. Lacking a pillow means his head has no comfortable padding, and also there is nothing to differentiate between top and bottom. Sure I plan to wipe this down to clean it, but I’d still prefer to put his head and feet the same direction each time. I think I’ll modify it somehow, maybe glue or sew a thin pillow onto it. Or just put a sticker or something on it to identify the top and bottom. I am fairly satisfied with this changing pad, and would recommend it for babies to lay on, with some form of safe pillow added.

Sized Really Well, Has No Back Grip
Good-ish :)First, I’ll say at the price point, its a fair changing mat.The pros are that it is sized really well. It’s larger than a lot of mats I’ve seen, which offers great coverage, especially when forced to use a public changing stations. The top portion of the mat is easily wiped, which is great. It’s also very thin, which is a bonus for folding and keeping in your diaper bag. The ends are also sewn well and securely. The material overall is a cheaper quality, but given what it’s for, it’s effective. The con is that the backing is super slippery. There are no grippers on the back to ensure you’re not slipping and sliding all over a changing table. So, this would work best for home use, and maybe on a floor, where the the slide risk is greatly reduced. OR, you could go buy a bottle of puffy paint and dot the back yourself, creating your own rubberized grip. Maybe, though, it’s designed this way for sanitation reasons?Based on size, quality (lack of grip) and price point…it’s a 3.5 star.

Not washable – only “wipeable” on one side
This is a large, flat thin faux leather mat with a soft fabric on the other side. However, I think the leather part is supposed to be next to baby because it is wipeable. That means that, as we travel, the fabric part will be put on the dirty surfaces that I don’t want the baby touching. But the mat ISN’T washable only “wipeable.” I’d want to wash it before I even used it the first time. So I will be looking for a different, completely washable mat. My fault – I didn’t check this before ordering – I just assumed all changing mats would be washable.

Generous size, beautiful green color, folds down very compact.
Both down very compact, I love the beautiful green olive color, soft fabric on the back, easy to wipe down clean, and generously sized. What makes this changing pad so nice is how compact it folds down to and is easy to throw in your diaper bag on the go.This really doesn’t have any cushioning except for the little bit of soft filling fabric on the back. The main reason for this is offering protection for surfaces and from surfaces like public changing stations.Since it folds down so compactly, it’s great to keep in the diaper bag and takes up the next to no room.A nice gift idea.

Good size
This changing pad has a size that works very well for my baby. It lays out nicely on the bed, and the space is enough for a comfortable change without feeling cramped. I also like that it folds easily and fits in my bag when we go out. The design feels simple and the pad looks nice at first glance. That said, the material was not what I expected. It feels a little different from what the photos suggested, and cleaning it takes more effort than I hoped. Wiping small spills is fine, but anything that sticks or dries needs extra time to clean off. On busy days this can feel a bit tiring when all I want is a quick reset before the next change.I still use it because the size is convenient and it works well when we travel or move between rooms. It is not a bad product, just not as easy to maintain as I imagined. With a surface that cleaned faster, it would be much closer to what I had in mind.

Conveniently thin and very portable, but feels a little too cheap
This feels super thin, and I understand for the pricepoint it is decent enough but I think it could be a little bit better. This isn’t paper thin (more like cardstock thin), but for a changing pad I’d expect a little more pad lol.Overall I’d still recommend this because it’s probably better to have than to not have especially if you need to change your little on in the public changing stations or in your car if you don’t have any thing to help protect your little’s skin from any uncomfortable cold material that might have bacteria on it. I do think it should have a little more thickness for what it is but overall it’s good on the fly.

It’s okay; but this material on the back isn’t easy to clean
This changing pad is thin enough to easily bring along for a day out, but thick enough to provide a layer of comfort for baby during diaper changes in unfamiliar settings. The changing side wipes clean easily, whereas the backside is more of a spot clean type of fabric. You could put this in the washing machine and hang dry; but I don’t think I would recommend it.The diaper mat is affordable, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best value due to the inability to be laundered. Babies are messy. Sometimes throwing something in the machine is best for a busy mom like myself. I probably would opt for a washable mat in the future, or even a foldable 100% foam or plastic type that can be wiped clean with disinfectant on both sides.

Waterproof, faux leather pad
First – this is not a leather changing pad as the headline states, but is a faux leather, as per the description. It is a nice sized, faux leather (plastic or vinyl?), changing pad. True to size at 30×17 inches. It is light weight, easily foldable and very portable. There is no padding to this though – it is just a changing mat.The faux leather side is water-proof and easily cleaned. It can not go in the wash though, so I’m not sure how to clean it if the fabric on the back becomes soiled.Removing a star for price and washability.
